I visited here with my mum a few weeks back for a late brekkie. The place was buzzing, staff welcoming, and a cracking little breakfast menu to choose from. I had the full English which was delicious! PROPER sausages, PROPER buttery granary Toast and delicious hot coffee! Much better than the warm coffee I consumed at the awfully named new... More

I absolutely loved my sandwich today (sausage and egg). The bread was so fresh, proper decent sausages, and amazing eggs! The staff were amazingly friendly, but especially the blonde girl with the nose piercings, and burgundy t shirt! Absolute credit to your cafe 😋

Had the most amazing Welsh Rarebit on thick brown bread here for lunch on Saturday and it was so delicious that when we went out for a meal in the evening at a well-known Italian chain all I could think about was my lunch! Cheese on toast will never be the same again!

This is a great place to pop in for a coffee or tea, a bowl of homemade soup or a pastry. It's great little spot - you may need to wait a little for a table - worth the wait.

Great breakfast, reasonable price, good quality, friendly and efficient staff. Quick visit, but exactly what we wanted.

We had some lovely sandwiches, coffee and soft drinks. We sat in the garden as it was a lovely day. We didn't realise you can access this from the car park in Lace Walk. We came from the front in the High street. Nice staff. Even though we were late and they were trying to close they still made us... More

We stopped here for breakfast to break a long journey. We were all hungry and thirsty but only had a short amount of time. The menu is spot on, I had the poached eggs on air dried ham on a toasted muffin and it was perfect! accompanied by a cup of tea (I just like ordinary tea - lots of... More

Decided to have breakfast here following the positive reviews on TA. Tried to book a large table as we were visiting the grandchildren. Told they don't take bookings but shouldn't be too long a wait for a table. Fortunately when we arrived there were two ta les free and the staff very kindly pushed them together for us. Breakfast was... More

We ate at Toast on Sunday morning on the recommendation of my daughter. It was lovely and quirky. The food quality was excellent as was the service and staff. We will certainly return when down that way again. Very nice!

Popped in here a couple of days ago whilst shopping in Honiton and had poached eggs with air dried ham on muffins and coffee. The service was good and food tasty. I asked at what point the garden would be closed and the waitress told me they've decided to keep open all year but will be providing blankets which seems... More
