Nice surroundings good food and decent coffee seemed very busy which is always a good sign. Friendly staff only criticism was the seating

Needed a light lunch since we had booked a dinner before going to a show. The broccoli and Stilton soup was excellent, and the bowl surprisingly deep. Together with a slice of granary bread, I had second thoughts about the ham and cheese toastie I had ordered to follow. The toastie was substantial and again very tasty. My partner skipped... More

We'd booked a table at our halfway point travelling from deepest Cornwall- the place we booked closed before we got there, so with two hungry hot teenagers and a dog we needed somewhere to eat and rest. Although they were busy we were very grateful to receive our delicious food

Stopped here a couple of times on way to Exeter. Breakfast is always good - scrambled eggs with salmon and the full english.

Lovely little shabby chic caf with friendly happy staff. We ordered the 'honey roast parsnip soup' it was really lovely except it was very spicey which wasn't warned about. So for peeps who don't do chilly like my hubby it wasn't great. BUT THE COFFEE was fab and the others loved the soup. Would go again.

I visited here with my mum a few weeks back for a late brekkie. The place was buzzing, staff welcoming, and a cracking little breakfast menu to choose from. I had the full English which was delicious! PROPER sausages, PROPER buttery granary Toast and delicious hot coffee! Much better than the warm coffee I consumed at the awfully named new... More

I absolutely loved my sandwich today (sausage and egg). The bread was so fresh, proper decent sausages, and amazing eggs! The staff were amazingly friendly, but especially the blonde girl with the nose piercings, and burgundy t shirt! Absolute credit to your cafe 😋

Had the most amazing Welsh Rarebit on thick brown bread here for lunch on Saturday and it was so delicious that when we went out for a meal in the evening at a well-known Italian chain all I could think about was my lunch! Cheese on toast will never be the same again!

This is a great place to pop in for a coffee or tea, a bowl of homemade soup or a pastry. It's great little spot - you may need to wait a little for a table - worth the wait.

Thank NHK13
