Booked in advance, Its called a cafe I would call it a resturant, the decor is lovely. Be warned we found it difficult to find, we went to Padstow especially. But it was well worth a visit. All our dishes were very tasty. I had Hake for mains. Would have preferred a bit more food on my plate! The Cheesecake... More

Booked a table on line. On arrival a very warm welcome. All the staff were extremely friendly and pleasant we felt valued. Food was outstanding as expected, fish amazing. A little expensive but as it was a treat we didn't mind. 3 courses for £23,50 but sides were extra and drinks were pricey. Nevertheless we would go again. Need to... More

We visited in mid June. My father is in a wheel chair so on entering the restaurant was a little concerned about getting to our table in the dinning room, fortunately we had a table, 1 of 3 in the little court yard out the back which was much easier to get to via a door next to the stairs.... Tried out Rick Stein's Cafe whilst we were in Padstow and I must say it was really average. Average all round. Highlights of the evening Prawns and cured salmon starters were simply delicious Chocolate brownie and cheesecake were fab. The cheesecake is by far the best I have ever tasted. Lowlights of the evening Mains were simply poor and not... More

Front of house very informative. Food brilliant, waiting on staff alternative and helpful. Starter of salt and pepper prawns, gorgeous. The hake was lovely and dessert was to die for. Worth the journey from North Wales to Cornwall 😎

Our room was supposedly the "snug" but was amply sized with comfortable fixtures and a good shower room. The breakfast were fantastic with really lovely staff

I came here for dinner and was full of anticipation and expectation. The quality of the food certainly met all my expectations. I started with salt and pepper prawns which were tasty and well cooked. It was a generous serve of 5 large prawns as a starter. For main I had lamb curry which was served with fluffy rice and... More

Very simple restaurant with great food! The location is right on the bay. It's a bit difficult to untangle all the Rick Stein's in Padstow and I'm not sure which one is which! Anyway the food - battered haddock, grilled sole and mackerel was excellent and so was the beer. Quick turnaround and good service. This is upscale fish and... More

The Café provides a set menu for £23.50. At this price, you would sometimes wonder if the quality and choice will be worth it...and all seven of us who dined were not disappointed. There's a great choice of starters (try the Pau Bhaji - spicy Indian pate, hot but really, really good), mains (4 of us had the Hake which... More

We visited for our anniversary dinner in June. We had such a lovely evening - thank-you! A lovely atmosphere, great food and friendly, attentive staff. We hope to be back on our next visit to Pawstow!
