I visited Padstow with my partner, my partner is a head chef and we both love our food especially top notch food, this certainly was top notch! I had the Nasi Goreng for main and Ian had the steak both were absolutely perfect, Ian is very fussy about his steak and even he said it was cooked to perfection. Our... More

My husband and I recently stayed in Padstow on a last minute long weekend break and managed to get a table at the café for the Sunday evening by popping in at lunchtime and getting their last available table for that evening. Nice setting and I liked the way the tables backed onto the walls with comfy benches and cushions... More

Great food, good relaxed atmosphere, very nice/knowledgeable guy at front of house. Service very slick/attentive considering only 2 waitresses working. Great choice & value on 3 coarse option Fantastic experience.

My wife and I have eaten at Rick Stein's Cafe many times but our recent dinner there was not up to scratch. I had the rump steak which was small for the price (£17.95) and chewy. I should really have sent it back but by the time it arrived I was hungry and pushed on. My wife had the beef... More

We popped in for a coffee and was told sorry no prams / stroller as people can't move around- the place was empty and we explained the pram was very small ( its allowed on aircraft and fits in overhead storage ) the big lad in there behind the counter didn't have a clue. We were going to eat but... More

Visited Padstow for my birthday. Dropped into the Cafe after a lovely coastal walk, which had given me a healthy appetite. Lunchtime menu was served until 3pm and we arrived at about 2.15pm. No booking was required for lunch. I decided to have the three courses for £22.95. All dishes from the main menu were included. I had the vegetarian... More

We only went in for a cup of coffee but the staff were so friendly and helpful that we decided to have a few starters. The coffee was good and the starters were delicious. The waiter even showed us the recipe for the soup so we could make it at home. Would definitely return.

I dropped in for a late lunch after a bike ride in the area. It is casual and I didn't get funny looks being in bike kit! There is a fairly limited but interesting lunch menu. Puddings are not their strong point but my main was great. For me and ideal stop off during the day. It is very cosy... More

After eating in the Restaurant the previous night we enjoyed the meal here as much. We were seated quickly by a lovely waitress. The Cafe was busy but service great. We went for a bottle of Pinot Grigio which was very good. My wife and I both had the Squid starter...very tasty and a fiery chilli. My wife then went... More

Dined here whilst staying at the Seafood Restaurant. Very comfortable and informal. The food was wonderful. Surprisingly I went for the rump steak for my main course, rather than fish, and it was without doubt the finest most tender steak I have ever had so great choice! My husband, whose birthday it was, loved his fish starter and main course... More
