We come every year to this fabulous tearoom. The views are simply the best and so is the food. Always a Padstow must when we visit.

Amazing views, friendly service, great crab sandwiches and cream teas. It's a annual trip for us and part of the holiday.

We walked to wards Stepper point from Padstow, to say it was hot would be an understatement but we had heard about this little cafe with great vistas so pushed on. As we turned up another group where just leaving so we managed a shady and much welcome seat, our little pooch slurped greedily at the large fresh doggy bowl... More

Popped in by pure chance and was treated to very nice comforting food and friendly staff. They serve delicious ice cream made from a nearby farm and very good tea. If you fancy a break after a good walk, this is the place to go to!

We stopped off on a very sunny day for coffee & cake, both were lovely as were the scones! The view was breath taking, we would definitely visit here again.

A great place to stop for a drink & bite to eat. The view of the Camel Estuary is stunning. The cakes are homemade and delicious and if you've walked from Padstow worth the calories!

The 5 mile round trip was well worth the effort. Cream teas par excellence. The ambience and quality was that good we walked it twice. Thank you trip advisor; we wouldn't have spotted this little gem without you! Andrew Nottingham

A nice round walk down to the tea garden. A very tasty cream tea and the sandwiches looked nice, but rather a strange cafe... A kiosk counter and a few tables in a back garden! Worth a visit if you like a walk and want a view with your cuppa.

Whilst out walking along the coastal walk we found this little gem of a cafe. Didn't think for a minute they would serve anything gluten free as it was in the middle of nowhere! I had the option of gluten free cake, scones, soup and sandwiches - being in Cornwall I of course chose a cream tea - delicious! Definitely... More

The (tiny) tea garden is at the back of the two hundred year old 'Coastguard Houses' at Hawkers Cove, on the Coastal Path, 150m from the slipway at Hawkers Cove beach and enjoys fantastic views across the Doom Bar and mouth of the Camel Estuary, to Polzeath and Daymer Bay. We serve hot and cold drinks, homemade cakes, quiches and pies, homemade soups, filled jacket potatoes, made to order sandwiches, cream teas, ice creams and various snacks.(Our cream teas and our crab sandwiches are getting rave reviews). For anyone who is Coeliac, we have also added a Gluten Free Flapjack to our homemade products, which include Gluten Free Scones (of course), Gluten Free Lemon Drizzle Cake and Gluten Free Ginger Cake. We are stocking Gluten Free Bread, for sandwiches and Gluten Free Bread Rolls to compliment our Gluten Free homemade soups. We are 'Dog Friendly', welcoming well behaved pooches with a fresh bowl of water and biscuits. The tea garden is, literally, a garden, with no inside seating and is consequently very 'weather dependent' so if the weather is at all 'unsettled', we would advise that you phone ahead to make sure that we are open. The tea garden will be open 7 days a week (weather permitting) from Easter to October. Unfortunately we don't have any parking facilities, so if you wish to drive to us, we suggest that you park in the farmer's car park and walk along the coast path, or park anywhere on the road to Hawkers Cove and walk down the hill, (approx 500m). The tea garden is situated behind the top row of houses. We accept most Credit/Debit Cards. Please come and see us.... You will be made most welcome!
