we travelled a good way to try this after TA reviews. This was a nice tea room, light, airly, cosy, very nice staff, great Tea, english tea, nice home made scones and clotted cream , served very nice on a cake stand and we were offered more water for the tea, this is real tea. I was a little disapointed... More

We stumbled across this lovely tea room following our walk down the Camel Trail from Padstow. As we had a huge breakfast in Padstow to fuel our walk, we were just looking for a fresh made sandwich and this place fitted the bill. Lovely locally sourced bread, and lots of tea options on the menu. It's a shame we didn't... More

We called in here after cycling from Padstow to Wadebridge on the Camel Trail. We both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, homemade soup and a toastie with a proper brew. The staff were very friendly and the place was spotless. Make sure you take cash as theres no card machine which is the only downside to an otherwise very enjoyable dining... More

We stumbled across this tea shop after peddling up the camel trail and we were both in need of a brew ! We decided to have lunch too and it was well presented, home made and very very tasty . The husband had a toastie which was definitely above average and I had the butternut ginger and apricot soup which... More

My boyfriend and I stopped off after cycling from padstow to wadebridge and were in need of a good cuppa! I was very happy to see you selling tregothnan tea and it was very nicely promoted throughout your business. I had some lovely fluffy fresh scones and my boyfriend had a toastie, both of which were great and we were... More

Very nice little coffee shop! Lovely breakfast rolls and tea! Very friendly staff too. It's quite tucked away, but definitely worth seeking out!

We were spending the Easter weekend in Cornwall and decided to revisit Wadebridge. What a surprise! It's suddenly become a really nice place to go... as opposed to the grim, grey and sullen town of not so long ago. And nothing epitomises this better than The Old Tea House. Everything about it is "right". The welcome was warm and genuine,... More

As a family we called into The old teahouse during a bike ride on the camel trail it was a very welcome break with splendid tea and cakes. Will be calling in again when in Wadebridge as the welcome was like going to see friends ( even though it was our first visit).

Popped in for coffee break and found one of the best coffee's I'd had in Cornwall for a week! Wonderful smooth latte. Tasty real scones. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Lovely and clean.
