Invest in decent coffee

Even though the signs outside advertise a good brand coffee is used the coffee was instant and Hidden dreadful. Must have been a cash and carry special. I only drink black coffee so it can't even be dis

From the moment we arrived we felt unwanted here. From awful coffee, lack of customer loo's and awful staff. You order coffee inside at which point we also asked to be pointed in the direction on the loo's when a blonde lady laughed and pointed up the street, and told us to go to the public Loos. We should have... More

Really friendly cafe and the shop sells my favourite candles, whats not to like! Lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by.

On a casual visit to Wells-next-the Sea yesterday my wife and I saw this clean, prosperous-looking café and called in for a coffee. I fully sympathise with the earlier reviewer who referred to the "worst coffee" s/he had ever had. It was the worst we'd ever had too. We had to ask specially for milk, whereupon a handful of those... More

Popped in for a coffee and cake while our friend was competing in a triathlon. Fab garden in the September sunshine and gorgeous carrot cake. Coffee was hot and rich. Lovely lady behind the counter, presumably the owner, was a little ray of sunshine! Every time we come back to Wells, we'll come here!

On a short visit to Wells, we stopped by the Mermaids Purse for a coffee and a bite to eat, OH BOY!!! this was a big mistake, the cappuccino was awful, didn't really know what is was, as for the sausage roll the pastry was greasy, the tray we were given had a large bump in the middle so therefore... Stopped for a coffee and a cake. I like to think fair with my reviews and I don't like to go over the top with the negatives but this was genuinely the worst coffee I have ever been served in a cafe of any sort. Didn't have time to complain as they locked the entrance to encourage us to leave.

Lovely location, good points stop there, can't believe a coffee shop with at least 50 covers inside and out has no toilet or hand washing facilities, just a note inside telling you to use public toilets at the end of the road, very professional.........latte was just a normal white coffee with a bit of froth on top, was changed but... This was our first ever trip to North Norfolk and on a beautiful sunny Saturday we came across this wonderful gem in the idyllic town of Wells. We were welcomed by Sally who sat down and chatted to us about the town and local area, and then having enjoyed a tasty lunch (and the best coffee!) we were spoilt for... More
