Had a lovely lunch with a couple of pints here today. Beer kept well and food good value and tasty. But you need to be aware this is cash only,no cards accepted. Would happily eat there again.

Nice traditional pub, good food and a friendly landlord. Everyone using the over-crowded Wetherspoons and over priced hotel bars locally are missing a treat!
Would visit this place much more but have never met such a grumpy landlord. Felt as though I was doing him a favour, whilst being nuisance being there. Also short changed after buying a round of drinks and made to feel it was my fault.

Lovely home cooked food - generous portions. Views upstairs lovely. Yes, landlord is a character and pub opening hours are a mystery but worth a visit. Better than Wetherspoons!!
