My wife and myself together with two of our friends, all went here for an Evening Meal, and we firstly sat by the lovely open fire and had drinks whilst we were looking at the very good menu, and all deciding just what we were to order. A very nice and polite lady from the Bar came over and took... More

Came here as a group of 8 and we had a fantastic time. The service was excellent and the portion sizes were huge...you definitely won't go hungry. The flavours were great and you could tell the dishes were homemade. Would return for sure!!!

Warm welcoming atmosphere where nothing was too much trouble. Good variety of food both in menu and specials, and wide selection of drinks. Happily accommodated a wheelchair user in our party. Ample parking, pleasant staff, good value. Will definitely be eating here again in the future.

If I was on death row in a U.S. State Penitentiary and the Governor asked me what I would like my last meal to be ? It would have to be Sunday Lunch from the Carpenters Arms in East Winch. I would start off with a couple of pints of Peroni, followed by the prawn cocktail starter, followed by the... More

We had a really good lunch. The vegetable soup was the best I had ever had - really full of fresh vegetables and very tasty. Everything about our lunch was good including the service and the price. Would go again when travelling that way.

Just ate at The Carpenters Arms. My tuna steak was fabulous and my partner's steak was cooked to perfection. Absolutely lovely meal served by an extremely nice waitress called Mary. Our thanks to the chef.

Saturday evening, advised to book early, did so and can understand why, Soon filled up and that is a good sign. Shown to the dining room, tables and decor set very nice, waiting staff in matching color attire. Menu's presented by a very charming, polite, helpful member of staff as ALL the staff were. The meal came, every dish was freshly... More

My hubby and I visited yesterday lunchtime, they were quite busy but service was good. I ordered the burger and hubby had sausages and mash. The meals were both delicious and all was eaten, the meat used was clearly of good quality. My only gripe is the wooden board mine came on, this is a pet hate of mine....give me... More
