We visit the Wiveton Bell every time we come to Norfolk. It just gets better and better. The menu is thoughtful but not fussy and uses local ingredients as much as possible. The Pork with beetroot was fabulous and the crab salad, frankly quite a...More

We visited on Friday for lunch and sat in the beautiful garden area at the rear. Dogs are allowed which is a real bonus. The food was stunning (try the potted crab for starters - honestly the best I've ever had)! Great selection of choice...More

But... average service overall considering the pricing. I had heard a lot about this gastropub and all things considered, it was pretty good. Not overly hungry and just ordered the burger and hand-cut chips. (Each, for three of us) Got the feeling that the staff...More

The Anchor at Morston has a slightly more contemporary menu and is the better bet for a young family in my opinion.

The Wiveton Bell is situated in the quite hamlet of Wiveton just a mile from the Coastal resorts of Blakeney and Cley. Opposite the Church and overlooking the village green the Bell has a sunny south facing garden with comfortable wicker seating perfect on a summers day. With an AA Rosette and awarded a Michelin Inspectors Favourite in 2016, the Bell is a well known foodie destination but at the same time as popular with locals popping in for a pint. The warmst warmest of welcomes awaits you along with everything you would expect from a traditional english Pub. Four local ales, dogs welcome in the bar, childrens menu, roaring fire in winter, candle lit by night..... the Bell has lots to offer ..so much so you might just want to stay the night.
