Took my 2 grandaughters to lickerty slpits for a treat..werent dissapointed..the ice creams they got were delicious....well eorth popping into , great selection of ices ..friendly atomosphere...

On our visit to Seaham with a group of youngsters with learning difficultes we popped in for ice cream, not sure whether it was take out or sit in. Great atmosphere, 50s vibe. Staff look lovely in 50s dresses. Had a Sundae and banana milkshake, yummy.

Kids loved it here as a lot of choice. The wait to get in the was about 15mins then once inside place seemed bit worn and tired in seating area, but as a quick ice cream stop was ok

I 've always rated lickety spli t but recently heard bad reviews about it so decided to make another visit to see for myself ..firstly the food and ice cream is still A1 but sadly what is said about the staff is true. ..they're too young and this would not be a problem if there was a mature staff member... Always great for a treat ..reasonable priced ..ice cream to die for ... staff friendly ..plenty of choice from sweets to ice cream ... sorry it doesn't take much for me to say yes if anyone asks do you fancy a ice cream

Visited Seaham with friends today, and upon recommendation visited Lickety Split Creamery & Juice Bar. Upon arrival the queue was around 5 people long, and the staff seemed to be busy keeping up with orders. we took my eldest daughter out for a birthday treat as she has been poorly the the hubby had a hot dog ( a foot long) which looked lovely and the daughter had a a birthday treat ice cream it may as well have served in a dish not a bowl it was that big I had a Panini delish... More

Description
We are a 1950s all american ice cream parlour selling top grade ices and award winning dishes, award winning fairtrade coffee and lovely hotdogs at reasonable prices. We are not the cheapest but if you want quality then we are number 1. A family owned business we were the first of its kind in the North East and are still the peoples choice for this type of thing. Queues can be long at peak times (1-5 on weekends and school holidays) so please come prepared. off peak times are 10am until 1pm where you may not need queue of queue for less.
