Good choice of food, which is freshly prepared and served in a warm, friendly atmospheric pub. Very reasonably priced and good quality. Highly recommended Sunday carvery also worthy of praise. Make sure you book for Sunday lunch because it's now very popular and the price is unbeatable.

We've visited a couple of times now, a very busy pub, would be best to book first. Pleasant, efficient service, excellent food, the Thai green curry was delicious, and the puddings are wonderful. The only problem is that parking can be difficult.

We were stopping in the village for our holiday so this was our local for the week. We called in a couple of times for drinks which were reasonably priced. We didn't eat here but the menu looked nice just a little bit pricey compared to what we are used to.

Loved the food but felt on each occasion the food wasn't done the same way as if they have a few chefs doing different things but that doesn't take away from how good the food was. The setting is quaint and the staff nice. The prices weren't cheap but the food was worth it.

Been 3 times recently, the Sunday Carvery is excellent and becoming so popular booking is well recommended and the regular menu is imaginative, very tasty and well cooked and presented. Staff were attentive and friendly and the interior is warm and welcoming with a lovely rustic feel. Prices are average for the area, main courses range from £9 to £15... More

We found this place completely by accident, and we're really pleased we did. According to locals, this lovely, old, Inn has undergone an extensive up-grading. It is a real pleasure to see that somebody has taken the time to bring it back to life. It is a comfortable, friendly and welcoming establishment, somebody's pride and joy. The food is excellent... We called in for Sunday Lunch and had their Sunday Roast special. The pub is nicely decorated and very clean. There is a pleasant dining room. The food was delicious and there was a choice of 3 roasts and plenty of vegetables as well as Yorkshire pudding. Soup was also included in the set price. There was a choice of... More

The new occupants have done a great job of turning the Bay Horse Inn around. It is now a local village pub once again and the Sunday carvery is a treat - but you had better book your place! We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary there recently and all our friends from all over the UK were very impressed with... More
