Visited today for lunch and it was faultless and excellent value. Two courses for £19.95 or three courses or £24.95. After two delicious fish starters, we both opted for roast beef with all the trimmings - and extra gravy! The beef was cooked to perfection...More

Relaxing weekend away in The Pheasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hosts friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The most amazing part was the food, the menu isn’t huge but it’s definitely 5*, it was presented really well and tasted amazing.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in a spotless, comfortable room. All the food (breakfast and restaurant both evenings) was excellent and the staff were efficient and friendly. It's a lovely location too...what's not to like?

How rude and disrespectful for 10 people to presume it is Ok to eat their own food in a pub garden despite signs saying not too. All used our toilets, only 2 drinks bought at the bar on arrival. Flasks and drink bottles on the...More

Sat down in the pubs garden and just about to go inside to order a drink, but a lady who looked like the pie woman in chicken run appeared shouting no no no and wouldn’t let us eat our own lunches in the empty garden...More

Friendly welcoming staff. Comfortable room with lovely bedding and towels. Dinner and breakfast were very nice - really well cooked and presented food. The menu isn’t huge - but we always think that’s a good thing - and really nice selection of wines. Great location...More
