ask for octopus, it was delicious, but all in all, everything we had was very good and very carefully prepared. Service was also exceptional and helpful.

TOP TIP - go through the arch at the top of the outer wall and follow the narrow lanes to find a paradise of small local restaurants who know how to offer good service and to cook Having read a few of the other reviews I find the score for this restaurant to be rather high and maybe we just... I was on holiday in Tarifa for 10 days but have lived in Italy for over 40 years. When one goes abroad one finds many Italian restaurants ..Too many sometimes. Now, I have to say that among all the countries I've visited, I've never found a pizza made so well ..Not even here in Milan or Rome. The pasta is... More

We came her for our last evening out in tarifa and It was lovely. We both had pizza which was very tasty followed by two desserts, one tiramisu and a chocolate soufflé both very nice. I recommend going!

Good italian restaurant with nice waiters but some knick knack.... I would avoid any kind of wines... And service is just ok, even if the waiters were nice with us. A bit expensive.

Food and service was outstanding. We came in from the Old City side and no one was eating so we were a little hesitant but we were taken to the outside section (New City side) and there were plenty of people dining. We couldn't have been happier with the meal.

Stopped in this place for a break from the Spanish food and we were not disappointed! We are huge fans of the real-deal wood-fired pizzas you get in Italy, and this place is the closest thing we've ever found outside the country. Ingredients were fresh - apparently some brought in from Italy by the owner. Delicioso! Italian wines compliment the... More

The concierge at our Tarifa hotel sent us to another restaurant in the Alameda district just outside the main port, but in strolling the promenade we happened upon La Trattoria and preferred its menu. Our spontaneous choice was amply rewarded by fast and courteous service and a menu of unusual specialties. The restaurant's burrata appetizer is unlike anything we've had... More

Nice ambience, friendly trilingual staff and very good pasta dishes and house red wine. The portions are for the very hungry so pace yourself.
