Great setting and more importantly, great food. If the wind shuts down the ferry to Tangier tomorrow, we'll definitely eat here again. 😊

We have been in Spain for about 2 weeks and have visited Barcelona, Granada, Córdoba, and Seville. I am completely tapa'd out. I had the Sirloin steak here which I generally find wanting in the states and my partner had the grilled chicken. Both were cooked exactly as ordered and absolutely excellent. We are only In Terifa one night but... More

A bit hidden from the Old Town's "main road", Vaca Loca serves different meat courses at reasonable prices - especially given the portion's sizes!! The staff is very friendly and helps you get your preferred doneness by bringing undercooked meat back to the grill until you are happy.

We were 11 people starving, we arrive very late 11 pm, although being so late the staff didn't refuse to serve us. The food was excellent, good portions. The staff is very friendly. I would definitely return next time I visit Tarifa! Thank you

A quaint little bar/ restaurant with constantly good quality food. Barbecued food with salad and chips but no Fish.....not too good for vegetarians. Normally seating Is in the square outside the bar but if it Is chilly and you are lucky there Is one stone table inside. In the summer get there early to get a table as often there... More

Excellent meat cooked as BBQ. Flavour and taste are perfect. French fries are very good too. The place to be after a nice Kite session at Tarifa

Looking forward to steak after eating much lovely tapas and generally not being disappointed. Both our sirloin steaks were gristly, difficult to cut, chew and swallow. After reading such good reviews a big let down! About the only time I didn't leave a tip after eating in Tarifa. Our last meal before leaving the following day, a meal to forget.... More

Sorry for the late reply but this incident has taken a lot of work to find the cause of. Firstly all at Vaca Loca are very sorry you experienced a bad meal. The sirloin steak we sell is from Argentina and is the best quality and usually like butter to eat but it seems this was not the case with... More
