We always go to Ayo's during our stay in Nerja. You can see Mr Ayo the owner making the Paella. This restaurant is authentic and genuine and many Spanish go to this restaurant. Suggest you lunch early at this restaurant because it always gets full. They also do an amazing Flamenco show on Wednesday evening

After a full review of menus and general aspect of all the restaurant by the beach we decided on this one. Was the one with more people. I approach to the woman at the cashier and she was a bit rude. Rest of the crew was ok, the food was just ok. Enough for a beach day. Nothing especial. I... More

We always make a point of visiting Ayos because of its location and paella. Its great to see the Paella being cooked on the open fire and the quality was outstanding. I'm always tempted to order something different when we visit but because I enjoy the Paella so much I don't, however one of our party ordered the roast chicken... More

Enjoyed the summer Flamenco show along with drinks and paella (Wednesday eveings during the peak summer season, but be sure to book in advance). Lovely atmosphere, lots of people dancing, good vibes. Paella was good but could do with some more seafood. Staff were very stretched as it was so busy, they really should have had some extra staff for... More

When the midday sun gets too hot and you need a shady place to retreat to, to watch the beach and soak up the busy atmosphere of a great local eatery, Ayo's is the place to be. The owner has been cooking up his legendary paella, using local fish and seafood which has only just been landed, in his 'lean... More

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the flamenco dancing. Paella is perfect and the specialty of this restaurant. Will come visit again.

Went 15 years ago and remembered the place. Paella at lunch time freshly cooked in huge pans for about 7 euros. Other reviews state eat as much as you like but we were not offered or told so just one plateful but still very nice.
