Very poor food served in plain white bowls and they didn’t know the difference between a Nan bread and a chappati!! Chicken tikka masala was tough and chewy and had never been near a tandoori oven. Very small bowl of rice €3.20, €6.90 for 4...small chicken pakora pieces. We’ve been going to this restaurant for over 15 years - very sad to see its gone down hill.More

We visited here during June 2020 and sat on their rooftop terrace. This had spectacular views of the mountains and also sea on the other side. The food was the best Indian we have tasted. There were plenty of meat which tasted divine. The chicken...shashlick was amazing... If you are visiting nerja, then this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The only indian restaurant with a rooftop terrace.More

Terrible food the butter chicken lacked any flavour with lots of added food colouring, the dal was very watery and the waiter was too busy having a conversation with the owner to serve us. As there were only 2 other customers in the restaurant there...is no excuse for such bad service. There are much better Indian restaurants in Nerja and we will certainly not be going back, do not waste your money here.More

Without a reservation on New Years Eve we didn’t expect to find a table anywhere when every other restaurant was fully booked. There were only two tables and two couples eating on the ground floor and we were told that the cost of the three...course meal was €35 per person in cash. Due to “supply & demand” on such a busy night we anticipated that the cost would be high but I expected more for the occasion and what was eventually delivered was no more than a €10 menu del dia. There did not appear to be many people eating upstairs and given the set menu of three choices the kitchen should not have been stretched. However the service was painfully slow and although the owners partner constantly apologised for the delay in serving each course, we were never offered a discount nor placatory drink. The bill was the fastest service! We spent three hours in this restaurant and left at 15 minutes to midnight feeling that we had been ripped off, slowly! When the main course was served we were told they only had one warm plate, so I accepted the cold plate and my wife had the warm one. The food was bland and seemed like it had come from a tin. The chicken masala was a weird red colour. There was no planning, no customer service, no urgency and no atmosphere. We will never return to this restaurant and the poorest service I have ever experienced.More

Lamb pasanda was amazing, like lamb and dessert combined. Balanced with the ginger chilli chicken, this was one of the best meals we’ve had on this trip and one of the best Indian meals we’ve had anywhere. Following the suggestion of the waitress was the...right move. That led us to the lamb dish. Garlic naan was thicker than we are accustomed to, but tasty. House wine was good. We are never disappointed with house wine in Spain. Finished the meal with mango lassi, which was the perfect finish. They play familiar swing music so we were able to take a little turn on the floor. All in all a pleasant evening.More

I have been a number of times and the food is always average at best. The naan bread is basically just dough and is not particularly great. The onion bhaji is a massive ball and not particularly crispy as they should be. The reason this...is a 1 star review is that I have always paid on card on my previous visits. However this time when we went to pay they told us they don’t take cards and it’s cash only. This was really poor as they should have told us this before we ordered. We had no cash so one of us had to leave to go find a cash point. Terrible experience and will never ever go back. Probably just taking cash over summer so they don’t have to declare it and pay taxMore

Fabulous setting on the roof top. Staff were truly inviting. Food was wonderful, tasty and looked good. Even if what you wanted wasn’t on the menu! No problem just ask.

Excellent food and fantastic staff! I’d originally booked a table at Nemaste, but on arrival there they said that there was no booking and that we couldn’t sit outside. On hearing this we left and headed to Haveli which we’d passed en route. Thank God...we did! Staff and food amazing and sitting up on their terrace we had a beautiful view of the sea. Extremely reasonably priced and well situated. We’re here for 2 weeks so will be heading back!More

Hello Courtney I don't really know for definite. At a guess they probably do as most food outlets seemed to. Business is business after all.
