We stayed close by and visited a few times. They were very Covid aware only letting so many people in at a time and checking your vaccination status before letting you in. All tables were sanitised etc. Tapa was good and the beer and wine...also good. Staff were all friendly. We enjoyed our time there.More

Specialising in fish/seafood. Very busy with locals at lunchtime. Good quality glass of wine 1.70. 6 barstaff, 3 cooks. So efficient service. Feels very Spanish. Not to be missed.

First of all about pluses. The food is really fresh and tasty. I still recommend this place if You will be carefull while ordering and paying the bill. Now about minuses. Different products are served by weight. We ordered 100 grams of razor clams, 100...grams of clams pil pil and frech calamari by weight. Everything was delicious and after dinner we asked for the bill. After the bill was presented I wondered, that instead of ordered 100 rams of clams pil pil they charged me for 430 grams! I told the waiter, that I have ordered just 100 grams and this was exactly what was on the plate! He pretended he does not speak English. Fine. I showed him the picture, where is clearly seen that these 14 clams can not anyhow be 430 grams which is compared to huge calamari which is around 500 grams. It just can not be and finally I did not ordered more, than 100 grams anyway! He just wrote on the paper tablecloth, that I need to pay for 430 grams and that's it! No excuse, no attempt to communicate! So, In total I was charged 8.35€ more. I did not want to argue, but now I aware everybody, that you probably need to write your order on paper and make the picture of it before ordering. Otherwise you can face similar situation. All pictures attached. If management would like to compensate me my 8.40€ I would appretiate that!More

Authentic Spanish seafood restaurant. The best in Nerja. The best I’ve ever had in Spain.Prices are very reasonable and the house wine “de la casa”at 9:50 euros is very tempting to have another.Very good chefs and waiting staff.

When in Nerja you must visit here. It is always busy and normally queues for tables but better just to squeeze in to a space at the bar. Crazy and frantic fir the waiting staff but definitely a proper spanish tapas experience. Lots of choice...of free tapas with every drink and good sized raciones if you are a bit hungrier.More

Visited last night and had a really varied selection of raciones plus a full Sole. The croquets ate really well as did the Scallops that were huge and full of garlic and oil; so ensure you get bread too. The clams are actually called cockles...on the menu so just check if you do actually want clams. The only downside was the 10% service charge that was applied to the final bill. Service was fine but nothing that justified the 10%.More

Saw the restaurant was busy with Spanish, Americans and English so decided to try for a table. Had to wait 15 mins or so but it wasnt an issue . Gave us the menu and we chose (4 of us) 1 coke, 1 tinto Verano...and 2 waters - even tho we got one bottle of water between us - food we chose Rosada fritto and chips ( fried fish), 1 mixed sea food platter with a shared plate of fries and large prawns and chips - we got only plate of chips to share but we didn’t want to make a fuss as the restaurant was extremely busy. However when my friend tried to eat her prawns it was very tough and dry - very over cooked. We called the waiter over and tried to explain to him in my limited Spanish that it was over cooked but he just said we were cutting it wrong and he tried to remove the meat from the shell but he was struggling and then he walked off. My friends husband is a very experienced a la carte chef of 30 years so he knows when something isn’t cooked right. Then the bill came!,! €133 -a charge of €45 for the jumbo prawns and the mixed sea food platter was charged by weight for each individual item. What a rip off think the platter worked out at about €60 odd . They even charged us for aili oil which we never got. We complained to the head waiter about the overcooked prawns and he just shouted in Spanish and removed the bill from the table and came back with a new bill for €88 . We had already put €100 on the table to pay anyway as we weren’t paying for the prawns as when we first complained they never offered to do them again. He shouted in Spanish he didn’t want the extra but didn’t come back with any change!!, the other food we ordered was ok but was very very overpriced. Better restaurants in Nerja for fish and sea food .More

This was found on our last visit to town so we weren’t going to miss out on going again. It is on the main road heading down from the first roundabout on the right hand side and is worth seeking out. It is rough and...ready place but don’t let this put you off. The staff are really friendly and, although it gets very busy with locals, it is great fun. As its name suggests, it is all about the fish. You can order full meals here and down either at the bar, in the restaurant this was assigned on our last visit to town so we weren’t going to miss out on going again. The prawns in garlic were easily the best of these.More
