We highly recommend eating here. It is a British run establishment and the owners are so personable. The food however is sublime! We highly recommend the tapas for starters (a must!!) and the dessert tapas. Everything cooked fresh and to perfection. Worth every cent!!

What a gem! A wonderful dining experience. Excellent food. Good company. Tapas surprises a must. Unassuming venue but well worth a visit. We'll be back.

Superb presentation and taste. We opted for selection of Tapas for main and dessert , Nick and Simon have a great concept providing more upmarket food in a very tough time in the food industry. Hope they continue to do well.

Tapas, doesn't do this restaurant justice, it's way above that. I've eaten in some top London restaurants and paid highly for the 'taster' menus with 6-7 courses, by some famous and Michelin stared chefs... la marmita is on par with these, at price which nowhere near reflects the quality of the food This restaurant is almost too good for fuengirola... Called into this place at about 12.15 on a Friday to reserve a table for 3 people at 2pm and was totally put off by the attitude of the server on duty!! If he is the owner he wants to learn a few manners, local business counts for a lot in the winter months and he won't be getting any... More

Dear Reviewer Like most people, you came to book a table at our little restaurant, because you had been recommended, either by a friend or via reviews on this website. The reason we are so highly recommended is three fold, the food, the service and the value for money. The importance of booking any restaurant in advance is so the... More

Found excellent reviews on TripAdvisor, so arrived at opening on a Tuesday evening and they managed to squeeze us in. But would definitely recommend booking in advance as we found out when try to book a second sitting within that week they fully booked practically all week except for the Thursday and even then tables were limited. On both visit's... More

This restaurant is a little bit, at least during winter time but is really worth a little walk along the sea to visit. The tapas are "their way", not the usually served. And they are not even served the usual way. We got small soups, small fish dishes, meat dishes and even excellent dessert tapas. We were so pleased with... More

Perhaps at the wrong end of Fuengirola for the crowds. And not amongst the masses of tourist touting restaurants. But if you like great food and reasonable prices, cooked and served by friendly and humerous staff. Then give them a call and book a table. You won't regret it. It should not be long before they are booked weeks in... More

Visited here with two friends and my husband. We were all impressed by the friendly and informative service of Nick and Simon the two owners, the food was a delight both in appearance and taste. We had twisted tapas platters to start, pork belly mushroom rissotto marinated king prawns cod and chips n pea puree to name but a few....... More
