To start, We took media racion of spinach & cheese croquetas, media racion of eggplant (very good) and media racion of cheese... Food was good although the waiter initially brought croquetas with ham... It's a good thing we did not eat them straight away. Then we received the main meal (grilled octopus for me) it was lukewarm at best and... More

The four of us, were looking for another place, but came across this establishment. It is an innocuous looking exterior so we stepped in just as a table was vacated. Well what a great couple of hours we had. Lovely tapas and a special on the wine by the bottle. The atmosphere was buzzin' a some discreet music and friendly... More

If you want to sit in a beautiful square, with the view to the castle and surrounding buildings and enjoy great tapas and wine - this place is for you. There are couple of restaurants in Plaza Coso Viejo - this one is great. We had a bottle of Rioja and different tapas - the good thing is you can... More

Meson Iberico is a pretty trendy-looking, bodega-type place, with a more formal restaurant section in the back. They have special wine and food offers and are in an easy-to-find location off one of the main squares below the Alcazaba. Service is quick and efficient and I found the spinach-filled hake on the menu of the day quite tasty. When I... More

We ate a delicious dinner in this restaurant. I would recommend the three course menu. We got to taste three starters instead of one. None dissapointed. The salmorejo was also delicious. You should keep some space for the desserts.

Stumbled across this gem of a place and great value 3 course meal with a drink, place was packed and vibrant atmosphere. The pate to start was followed by fish and chips then ice cream huge portions with bread thrown in far to much fish had to leave some nice selection available and staff very attentive

In a town not overflowing with dining options this restaurant stood out for me. The front half is more casual, with high tables and chairs for those wanting tapas and a drink. To the rear is a more formal dining area that has a nice atmosphere and is somewhat quieter. The menu is varied with a lot of dishes offered... More

we enjoyed a fantastic array of high quality tapas in the relaxed atmosphere of the bar, accompanied by excellent local wine. The waiter was brilliant and in limited English (still way better than our Spanish) guided us through a set menu which seemed to lead to a seemingly endless succession of delicious dishes being brought to the table. For €20,... More

Good food, friendly service and good choice of wine by the glass. I didn't speak much Spanish nor the person answering the phone English, bit we both managed to work out how to get a table reserved for me for for 20.00. Good food, decent portions and fresh fish dishes. Also try the pepper chicken dish, yummy. Would go again.
