"La Teleferic" Bistro. Are you a gourmand, or at least would you like to take some unforgettable culinary memories home with you? I invite you, to taste a Bean soup with 3 types of smoked meat – served in bread! Or what do you think about some Crispy, Roasted Duck Breast? And if I wasn't enough convincing yet, I should try to tell you about our Goose liver, served on baked apple with berries and almonds! If you still think you are facing a dilemma, maybe I should underline the atmosphere – that embraces you: a cozy family restaurant with homemade, freshly cooked food, served to the sound of great music... Linked to this Restaurant you'll find also a small boutique-hotel with 7 quiet rooms, exactly…
the best restaurant in sinaia, everything is superlative from the drinks on the menu to the appetizing pork ribs. The location is beautiful, the atmosphere is extraordinarily pleasant.

Thank you for your kind words, looking forward to welcoming you again! Best regards
Great, great experience. For the first time we tasted really home made and refined cuisine in Romania. The plates were just like should be, very good and full of taste soups (Tomato), ribs with grilled vegetables delicious and my salad with peer and cheese absolutely...gorgeous ! More over home made pickles and sirop are to must have in your order. Unfortunately we were not able to taste dessert but the cart looks very very good ! Great services, owner was suggesting and supervising everything. Very nice and cosy decoration of the place. We will come back - for sure !!!!More
A perfect dinner for me and my wife. Everything was perfect. From the entrance you feel at home. Perhaps the best restaurant found in Sinaia. Thank you for everything and we will definitely see you again
We were deeply and positively impressed after our first visit here. This is a true and honest and, in our opinion, successful family business. It was clear from the beginning that the lady taking the orders is the Owner, and, later on, we had the...feeling that the chef is an Owner, too. One of them has written the daily recommendations, with white chalk and an educated calligraphy. Educated English too, for the above mentioned lady. Educated knowledge about food. Fusion is the keyword of the place: bean soup and French onion soup, classic pork ribs and an incredibly good combination of goat cheese with pear boiled in wine. Home made sausage with a crispy sauerkraut with lemon! My God!
If you love such places with six tables, great food culture, respectful service and nice atmosphere, reserve NOW! My recommendation is based on my portfolio of more than 100 Tripadvisor reviews.
If you are expecting I don’t know what, like the guys with 1 or 2 reviews before, giving 1 point, please stay away.More
This restaurant and the whole experience was beyond my understanding of how they have gotten to be the no 1 in Sinaia. It mindboggling! Maybe they hacked TripAdvisor...
I am going to explain the experience from an objective point of view at first.
The restaurant...works only on certain hours and only by reservations, when we were there(I made reservations a night before) , the place was empty... I could not wrap my head around why they operate like that, when they dont have enough clients for a full restaurant(wich, by the way, is very small, around 8 tables). Maybe they are content as it is.
The visuals and decorations were ok, not something impressive, but nice touches and the feeling of small family operated establishment. The service seemed ok, but I will get back to that later on...
The food, is very disappointing! And that is still an compliment, because it is blend, no kick, no fell to it. Seems like normal, regular house hold food with nothing special, just a few thing dropped in there without an ideea of what is supposed to be brought out of the meal.
We had a garlic soup creme, it was not that creamy, nor that great. But it was ok.
Toasted bread with garlic, witch was the most common type of bread i have ever had, just two loaves of bread on a grill with a bit of oil and garil on them(bearly feel the garlic).
The mashed potatoes, regular and hungarian were also nothing out of the ordinary, don't recommend them.
The cabbage or sauerkraut sallad was also a normal one.
So... overall, the objective experience was a mediocre one well deserving of a 3 points, BUT!!!
On to the subjective part, we started the dinner with the garlic creme soup, for my 3 year old son, in witch after just a few spoons(I tryied it as well)...I found a medium size dark hair in the soup (my son and wife have blond hair, while i have very very short dark hair).
I notified the staff, the waitress came and took the soup away, but NEVER GOT AN APOLOGY!
So my personal experience is of a maximum 2 points out of five. The place was empty, there was no ambiance or mood in the place, no music noise of any kind, it felt cold and weird... I did not enjoy this experience at all and I really can't understant the TripAdvisor rating!
I will give it a solid 2 points, BECAUSE the rest of the food did not save the experience of the entire restaurant!More

A classic case of ambush. Offenses, the classic hair found in food (I'm the only one in the kitchen and I have white hair). I understand that you are the kind of customer who is hard to be satisfied, good to you, but without false...More
The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the decorations are just wonderful, that can suggest the inter-bellic period but all made with great taste.
The service is excellent and the dishes also.
I especially recommend pumpkin soup, onion soup, but also Williams pears as a dessert....All the preparations are carefully and wisely cooked.
I'll always come back here with pleasure.More
