It's my second recommendation I am poating for this hotel and restautant. After a 7 days holiday in Brasov, I came on purpose in Predeal for another 2 days in order to enjoy the services offered by Hotel Dragului.
Although I preffered to eat on the open terace of the restaurant, the inconvenient cause by the cold outside was easily skipped due to high qualiry services and the very tasty food. I also enjoyed the new dishes from the menu. From the new dishes I recomment the cake with caramel and the mutton pastrami. The rib eye was perfectly cooked and the plating was great. The beef cheeks were well cooked, but it is not a dish I would order twice.
I was delighted to find in the wine menu different types of wine from Liliac winery.
I mostly enjoyed the services offered by Mrs Elena for her attention to details and patience, whilst her husband is the chef who cooked the rib eye. They make great team!

I have loved the seafood with butter and wine dish from Dragului from the first time I have tried it. Even though I come here once a year to eat it, it is always good and they have other delicious dishes as well. Try any type of beef also.

After many unsuccessful tries to eat smth good in Predeal, we were recommended to try also Dragului restaurant.
We had difficuties to find a table, since it was very crowded, and to our surprise, a waiter greeted us and solved the table issue.
We ordered rib eye with grilled vegetables and pepper sauce, which were very weĺl cooked.
The service was impecable, the waiters were all smiling and location itself, although crowded, it was very weĺl arranged.
We will come back to this location and we will also take accommodation there too.

Disappointment on Trip Recommendation....
Arrived in Predeal first day for lunch hungry consulting trip and seen the great reviews we decided to stop.
Cute place with tables even outdoors kitchen nothing exceptional service a little 'rude while we ate the seconds we asked the blonde waitress if she could take away the dessert from the child who was already full and we were told that you could not as it was already being prepared we were all puzzled... after half an hour comes the long-awaited dessert and it was a slice of apple pie taken and cut from the showcase with a scoop of ice cream...
I leave all thoughts to you....
Would definitely not stay here again...

Restaurantul Dragului is magnificent. They have two dining rooms, one classic and elegant (which we recommend, entering on the right) and the other with a modern style (entering on the left). They serve absolutely delicious dishes, wonderful to enjoy the food. We have come twice to this place, the staff attended us quickly and very politely each time. The dishes we ordered were: beef soup; beef gut soup (ciorba de burta); bean soup, smoked bacon, and fresh tarragon; rucula salad, prosciutto and laminated parmesan (very large portion); a very delicious mountain cock with a little spicy sauce with baked potatoes; grilled trout; biban de mare (sea bass) baked.
Because the portions are large, it is best to order the dishes to share.
As desserts we ordered a tasty ice cream with walnuts, apple and raisins, and an apple tart with ice cream and cinnamon.
The house wines, both white and red, very good. White wine is served with a pitcher with a double container for ice. At Dragului everything seemed perfect to us: atmosphere, service and above all the food, which was fabulous. You must know it. One of the best restaurants we know.

The restaurant has a high capacity, but it was full at 17 in the afternoon. Still we managed to get a table with no reservation. We ordered two specialities (ribs and duck) which were a little expensive but they were quite tasty and we barely eat everything because the portions were big.

This was a very nice surprise. A restaurant with good location, a varied menu, quick service and nice ambience. The prices are not expensive and thus you can enjoy a good meal and drinks at a medium cost. Large sitting area, although for some reason the cigarette smoke will reach you from all directions.

As every time I've stayed in Predeal I went to eat in the evening at Dragului Restaurant. 2 weeks ago I ordered a portion of papanasi and I asked to make it crispy. I was surprized to receive it in 15 min and whe I took a bite I've realised that they were not made it on spot. Same thing 2 days ago. Which mean that the donuts are prepared in the morning and reheated whenever they are receiving a request for the desert. Too bad.

Good food, served well; many food options to choose from the menu; medium waiting time(we entered in the restaurant at 15:30 and we finished our lunch at 16:40, including the payment); nice place with large number of tables inside and outside; price is medium to high; car parking area is available.
Good choice for lunch or dinner.

Excelent food and service, one of the best in Valea Prahovei. Big and tasty portions of food. The menu is suitable for every type of eaters, it can easily be checked online. The deserts are mouthwatering. Highly recommended!

A while ago they were very good. Now they are mediocre but prices remained very high. The rice was greasy, the onion beead was just a tostead bread (no onion, no butter). Orezul a fost uleios. The lamb chops were dry and hard. They are definitely not worh the money nowadays. Oh, the lady at the reception desk was not wearing a mask.

This is the best restaurant near Brasov that I've visited this year! Everything it's just perfect!!! They are welcoming and the service it's amazing, I am so happy that we discovered this place. I was so surprised about the prices, everything it's much cheaper than the average prices in such restaurants. I will definitely come back!

After waiting around 30 minutes outside, in a canicular day, the waiter welcomed in the group that was after us, with no explenation. Also, during the time we waited outside, we were not asked anithing, even though the waiter was staying right in front of us during the time.
First impression - very bad costumer care and there are no clear rules.

High quality restaurant. Nice interiors, candle and decor on the table, good and proper wine glasses. Attentive staff and fast service.
All meals were delightful and of good size.
I have to mention that even bread was simply melting in the mouth.
The only omission was a tea cup with slight traces of previous use which was overlooked most likely due to dimming lights in the room.

This is my second time coming here,because I loved it the first time. And the food was again delicious and the waiter a proffesional,very prompt and kind.
I will definitely come here again every time I go to the mountain sides. Actually my trip was to Busteni,but I came to Predeal especially to have lunch here,because the service and the food are exquisite. Thank you!
