Have not been to Bistrita for a very long time - however once more had to travel and since the weather was less than perfect decision was taken, to eat at the hotels restaurant. And here are the findings:
- location - in the "Golden...Crown Hotel" you can find this restaurant. With a good seating capacity inside - but that one currently is not used - regulations for the time of the pandemics - and a good seating capacity on the terrace - that was open for customers.
Guest, if arriving by car, can park at the hotels parking area.
- service - first of all - sanitizer was brought to the table by the waiter, who was wearing mask and gloves - so overall measures of safety were in place here. Than the order was taken and the drinks and food arrived in a prompt and timely manner. Overall good waiter work - nothing to complain.
- food - very good quality. I choose some appetizer with local things - tasty and plenty . Than for the main course had a beef stew with oven backed potatoes - mildly spiced, ordered a green chilly on the side to give it some kick.
Overall very good - nothing fancy but very good food.
- prices - pocket friendly and you can also pay with credit card - tip you have to deal in cash.
For sure is not a fine dining restaurant, but it is a very good one and for us it was suiting a purpose so if you are not looking for a fine dinning place than this can be a very good option for dinning in Bistrita.More
