The owner is super friendly and the staff as well. The food is fresh and excellent comparing to some Portuguese restaurants we have already tried. What do you need more? I've just took one picture of one dish but all were good too.

We booked this restaurant on a recommendation from a friend and when we arrived there was a queue at the door. People without reservations were turned away. It seemed the restaurant has different seating times which is fine but there is only two people serving. We gave our order and decided to have the bread and prawns for starter. Our... More

Very Good Food taste : that's the only quality of this Restaurant. If you are hungry, don't stop to this restaurant. If you want take few hours for eating, take a sit and sleep. We had to wait 1h30 to be served... You have a time to die.... Be calm and call.... Mc Donald's ;)

This is a small typical Portuguese restaurant. Everything we had was delicious and very fresh. Even their house wine was good and it costs less than 5€ a bottle. My husband and I had the grilled squid and my kids had the grilled dourada fish, I have never seen them polish their plates like that. The staff is friendly and... More

We had an excellent fish soup, daurade with shrimps that was just out of this world, and mackerel with potatoes and salad, a real good meal, with great white wine recommended by the waiter. The owner came several times at our table to make sure everything was perfect. Such a nice man. This restaurant is a family business, and they... More

We arrived to A Tasquinha without a reservation and were immediately drawn by the crowded restaurant and abundance of seafood on the tables. It was a 1 hour wait but we decided to stick it out - and we were so glad we did! The head waiter was so thankful and attentive even though he clearly didn't need our business... More

There are two rooms in A Tasquinha, one with tables and chairs and the other with benches. We were in the picnic-bench room, seated by the kitchen, and had a delightful time watching people in the restaurant and the cooking process as well. We had fresh shrimp as an appetizer and then a fish soup that was excellent. We followed... More
