In this small restaurant, hidden in the internal" ruas" of Nazare', my wife and me found really good food and the simpathy of the " boss" : Marina (doughter of the Maria do Mar who gave the name to the business). Very, very fresh fish (sea bass and dourade) made us happy and satisfied. The menu is simple, but the... More

Simple wonderfully grilled fish. Sardines. Seabass. Amazing hostess. Nice cheesecake. But do come early. Around 7 pm. The space fills up quickly. Wonderful ambiance. Do take your time!

Nice staff and great fish soup. I was appalled with the squid kebab/on the spit. It has bacon alongside with the squid, which makes the whole food taste like pork. For me it was awful as I do not eat meat. For someone who eats meat and ends up with a pork tasting dish when asks a for a fish... More

The atmosphere was familiar. Maria herself cares about the guests with very good mood. Our fish stew was delicious and well portioned. After three hours, we were full and Portugal in final of the EM 2016.

We had a nice dinner and the lady owner was attentive though the place was very busy. We were pleased of our choice of the caldeirada for 2 which allowed us to go side track versus the usual grilled fish with boiled potatoes and salad. A place we'd return to despite the wide number of restaurants in Nazaré.

Friendly service and great food. Fish soup and fish kebab both delicious. Waitress even managed to get the six year old to not have ketchup with the fries as they were "special", a first for him.

We had one of the best dinners of our two week trip here- we want because of the reviews and it's well worth it! Friendly staff - good table wine and wonderful octopus and shrimp rice!! We ate like kings for such a reasonable price- one of the most affordable places too! I already miss the food!

We had a very tasty starter of garlic clams and tomato and onion pippies. Then we ordered the seafood stew which fed all four of us easily. We followed this up with a choice of desserts. We can highly recommend this restaurant which is quiet and away from the busier strip of restaurants. The host was delightful too.

This family run place is cosy and welcoming. We ordered grilled sardines and clams. The latter were very tasty and they came in a big portion. But we've had better sardines in Lisbon. Wish we'd ordered the special fish stew - it looked absolutely awesome! The service was beyond expectations, and I would return because of the warm approach and... More
