Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, fantastic location beside the sea.

Hi I have been to this Cáfe a number of times and would really recommend a visit for a relaxing place to chill and soak up the atmosphere. You get a great menu with a twist! If you are going any day, but particularly at weekends you may have to queue but it is well worth it.

This is one of my favourite places to chill. If its a coffee and scone or a blackboard special the food is always delicious. The fresh juices are always a treat. I drive 90 minutes at least once every 8 weeks to enjoy the food and beauty of the ocean!

Pleasent, friendly and very tasty! As it was our first visit, the majority were ordering fish and chips while I ordered from the specials board and was treated to slow cooked ribs with mash and red onion gravy. The fish wasn't the endangered cod, and was a farmed white fish called "cobbler". Served with lemon mayo on the side, the... More

Be warned, you have to wait a while - 15 minutes - for a seat. But it's worth the wait. Friendly service and good food. Huge portions. Dessert is so good the cook stole out of the kitchen to take some. Perfect location next to the sea.

I have lots of family in Sligo that rave about shells, we have been a few times now, the food is always good and tasty, it is highly priced and the seating is quite cramped. Compared to other eateries I wouldn't say it represents great value for money but i think it demands the extra premium for the location

Amazing quirky little cafe with beautiful views of the sea but more importantly beautiful fresh homemade food! Service was quick and efficient despite being very busy. The chicken salad was huge, really tasty with home grown tomatoes and the celeriac and parsnip soup was packed full of flavour. Their homemade brown bread with the soup was also delicious and at... A cute cafe with a great menu. The coffee is strong - the way I like it!! Friendly service. The little shop next door sells a lot of local produce and jewellery - perfect for a gift.
