Great service and very good food, lots of food choices! Crab rolls are excellent, baked potato soup is some of the best I've had. You want bigger steaks than what the menu offers.....just tell them how big you want it and they cut it to what ever size you want!!!

My husband and I love to eat here. I always order steak, because I'm not a huge seafood person- always satisfied with my meal. The food is consistently good and their kilowatts are STRONG!

We have lived here for 15 years and never ate at Powerhouse. I used to know people who had worked there in the past, maybe they warned me off, I don't remember. This weekend we were in the Dixon Street area and decided to try Powerhouse. I was not impressed with the Shrimp Etouffee, it was ok. My husband had... More

This is a place we frequent occasionally. Mainly it's located on the opposite side of town from where we live. The food is good, good drink selection, and friendly attentive staff. Prices may vary due to seasonal items. The menu is large enough to find something everyone will like.

We had a small group that went to dinner here. Everyone liked what they ordered and I believe the prices were very fair for what you got and the quality. The service was also fantastic, from getting seated to ordering drinks to getting food quickly. I will come back.

Met some family that lives in the are here yesterday. I was leery of what it would be like based on some of the reviews I saw on another social media page. However, I can tell you I don;t know what restaurant those people had been to. The hostess was extremely welcoming and friendly as was our waitress, who immediately... More

The food was average, but the service was great. Darrell was our server and he made our experience memorable. Nothing really stood out about the meal or presentation of plate. I passed by the entrance 3 times, despite using Google Maps, because their lot is poorly marked. They need signage at the street. Nice outdoor patio area too.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots. Great BLT with gumbo! Tortilla soup and blackened catfish po boy. Onion rings, Caesar Salad, Power Chicken Sandwich, or catch of the day, and on and on. Lot's of room for the whole gang or a work lunch. Convenient parking. The wait staff is always friendly and takes care of business. I... More

We found the eatery tucked in behind the busy downtown area. We were seated quickly and selected a Chardonnay . We were not sure of the beer selection and were offered small samples to be sure. We ordered the delicious Oysters Rockefeller and crab rolls . Hearty cornmeal muffins were brought in a basket too. We dined on salmon and... More

Our first time at Powerhouse. Raw oysters were great! Interesting venue, building was originally the electric company in 1902. Primarily seafood, but they do have steak. Scott had a blackened catfish po boy, he said it was great. I had alligator bites and they were tender and fresh. Beer selection was great. I do highly recommend for this area.
