This used to be the place to go for seafood or Creole. The last year it's went down fast. Soggy, greasy food. Small portions with raised prices. Such a dissapointment. Lost a really good restaurant.

I met with a colleague and business associates for supper. The place had good atmosphere - and the service was not bad. However, the meals that me and my associate received (blackened catfish) were overcooked significantly.
Neat atmosphere! The blackened tilapia (tilapia was the fish of the day) my husband got and the blackened shrimp skewer I ate were delicious. The tilapia was a nice size but shrimp were just ok in regards to size. Lots of sides to choose from...More
So everything started out great. My husband and I were seated quickly, and our drinks and appetizer was taken quickly. Due to some medical issues I'm having to learn what my body can handle when it comes to food. We ordered the calimari for an...More

We had tickets at the Walton Arts Center with a 2:00PM showtime. We arrived at the restuarant (just a few minutes walk from the parking lot across from WAC) at 12:30PM. We were told the wait would be 30 minutes. It turned out to be...More
This was my first visit to Powerhouse. We went for an anniversary dinner. I had the baked salmon with sauteed mushrooms. By far the best salmon I have ever had!! The service and atmosphere were both good. The prices were spot on for the quality...More
I have been to many seafood restaurants and this one made my day. So many have the basics when it comes to seafood. This one they first bring out hot cornbread that is made to perfection. The menu has so many unusual selections it's hard...More
