Excellent unique Mexican restaurant! The salsa was excellent! We ordered guacamole as well, which was great. The menu is not typical of what you see in chain restaurants. These are all unique dishes and fantastic quality. I live in the area and will definitively be returning.

A really great dinner choice . Really pleasant ambiance - bright and cheerful . In a great area with numerous other shopping and dining areas close by . Very close to the preforming arts center and downtown.
Service was prompt , friendly and our server, Amia was an absolute delight .
Really full of great cheer and charm .
Menu choices were diverse and our food choices were absolutely excellent . I had Fajitas and my guests had excellent Entrée size Salad de is Casa which were quite large and very good . Very reasonable price point on all food and drink items .
The dessert that we shared , Sopapilla Cheesecake , was
absolutely delicious .
Definitely will return to further explore the menu choices .

Love the art work! I know it is unusual to begin a review of a restaurante discussing the art work but in this case the art helps define Rolando's. The selection, preperation, and delivery of the vaired menu is like the ark work, done with destintion.
We always enjoy the wait service as they are friendly, welcoming, and seem to like working in Rolando's. If you are seeing a play or just taking a walk downtown this is a good place to stop for a happy hour drink at the bar or for a full meal.

My wife and I, who are longtime Fayetteville residents, decided to try Rolando’s based on the positive reviews. The dining room is nicely decorated with interesting artwork. Our hostess and waitress could not have been friendlier. We decided to share an entree and a bottle of wine based on the waitress’s recommendation. The wine was good and the entree adequate for two, but barely warm.
When the bill was requested, she said the wine price had increased from that printed in the menu, but offered to “discount” back to the posted price. When the bill arrived, it included an incorrect 22% sales tax and an unexpected 3.25% credit card fee. The waitress, who is also the manager, apologized for the tax error, but said there was nothing she could do.

The service was excellent.👍🏻
The complementary chips and mild sala with corn and black beans, is really good.👍🏻
In general, their food taste/flavor is good.
Now, in comparison with similar restaurants, portions were smaller for the same price.
The pork tamales were great.
➡️Forget the chicken tortilla soup; it is only broth and no chicken whatsoever.👎🏻

I tried more than once…. This was my third visit to Rolando’s. Each time I have been really disappointed based on the positive reviews I read. I figured I just didn’t chose well off the menu, however I am done trying.
The salsa has a great appearance but lacks flavor and spice. The guacamole lacks flavor. Queso was bland and watery. The masa used in the tamales has a weird texture. Chicken was unseasoned. Each time I have visited there the food is okay but truly nothing wonderful!
Service was not as attentive as I would have wished despite visiting when the restaurant was almost empty. Our waiter was really sweet. However entrees arrived before appetizers. Apology received but still charged for appetizer we didn’t eat because we already had our entrees.
I’ll let those who continue to rate it well enjoy. Three visits without ha kind anything that I love is enough for me.

Our meal we shared was fantastic. Although it was a tight fit, our large family was accommodated to perfection. The food was great. The service was good. The hostess was helpful. Everyone had a great time. My kids commented on how much they enjoyed their meal. Thanks for the awesome supper.

Arrived at 6pm and had to flag a waiter down. At 7:06 asked where our food was and it was just coming up. Had to ask for to go boxes without eating to get to play on time. No apology, just a check. Am sure food will taste good when I finally eat it but doubt we will go back.

Our second time in this wonderful upscale Mexican restaurant. The first time was wonderful with excellent service , a great server and fantastic food with numerous choices and great price point .
This second time was as good if not better than the first . Our server this time was a young lady named Caitlin and she was also wonderful. Attentive, helpful and very friendly . Made our delicious meal even better . My wife had a great dinner salad with chicken and I had a chicken quesadilla.
Happy Hour Margarita was very reasonable and very good .
One would have to travel to a number of restaurants in town to find another choice that was as good as this restaurant .
We will return over and over to try all the menu choices .

Rolandos has impeccable service and delicious food! The black beans and rice are the most flavorful I’ve ever had. I have eaten half of the menu and have yet to get anything I haven’t liked yet!
We came in with a group of 15 and we received incredible, friendly service!! Highly highly recommend!!

This is one of my very favorite restaurants in Arkansas. There are several locations in different cities and they are all worth the trip there. Portions are large, food is rich and flavorful.
