A bit pricey but definitely worth it. The food is flown in from Louisiana, so the price is understandable. The Gator Tots are delicious. I've had a hard time finding decent gator in NWA but this is the real deal. I had the catfish dinner. I got probably 8-10 pieces of FRESH fried catfish and French Fries. My husband was... More

The food is superb. Spicy, hot and delicious. Large glass windows, open atmosphere, well trained wait-staff. Lunch specials, but most, just great food. Traditional Cajun fare, plus po-boys and other Louisiana specialties.

A local jewel serving the best Cajun dishes in Northwest, AR. The crawfish corn chowder is a must. This is as close as you're going to get to authentic recipes from the Bayou.

They have a good selection for a "southern/cajun/seafood" restaurant in northwest arkansas. The atmosphere is sparse, but homey. The prices are reasonable.

This is some really good food with a deceptive exterior. Go in and check it out you will not be sorry. Really good seasoning and style of New Orleans.

We had a very nice lunch. My wife had a crawfish po'boy and couldn't stop raving about how good the bread was. I had the fried oyster plate with a side of etouffe. Both EXCELLENT. Service SEEMED slow, but that was because everything was being prepared fresh. Looks like a dump on the outside, not fancy on the inside, but... More

The food here was really great. We got the buffalo oysters, the gator tots and then split the Bayou Boat. It was all fantastic! And the Bayou Boat was definitely enough to feed 4 adults with hefty appetites!

It is my daughter's birthday, and both sets of grandparents drove into Fayetteville from out of town to celebrate. We had been wanting to take them to your restaurant; especially since we have all lived in the New Orleans area. We finally went tonight for dinner. We had a party of 8. Half of the restaurant was empty. Your hostess... More

I was in Fayetteville again, and I never pass up a chance to eat at Cafe Rue Orleans. It's near the University of Arkansas on College Street. This Time I tried Catfish Tschoupatoulis (spellings?). It's a catfish fillet stuff with seafood (crab?) and then covered with a seafood "gravy". And it is fantastic!

The service at Café Rue Orleans is exceptional - friendly and engaging. The owner and chef, Maudie, even came out during the dinner rush to ask patrons (in her heavy Southern Louisiana accent) how everything was. The food is a mix of traditional Cajun fare and some dishes with a twist. This restaurant does fancy, like eggplant napoleon, and simple,... More
