Our tour guide brought us to Maguire's for lunch and it was both quick and delicious. Nice wraps and sandwiches, homemade soup, and atmosphere. There is also a gift shop.

Had lunch here after visiting the area. The pasta was real good. So is the garlic bread. The serving is generous. The setting was cosy too. A totally satisfying meal.

Two of my friends are vegetarians, but eat fish. The chef was willing to alter things to suit. Their brown bread is amazing. The weather was nice, so we sat outside under one of the huge umbrellas. We were meeting some Canadians to explore the Hill. We ate first and they ate afterwards. They went inside to eat and it... More

Ate here when touring the Hill of Tara. Crowded with locals--reservations recommended. The food was delicious and the scones baked on premises were fabulous. We were a party of five so we tried a variety of items. All were very good from soups, to salads, to wraps to pasta. There is also an adorable gift shop on premises. I was... More

I frequently go to Maguires for lunch Food here is always good. Staff very pleasant. Only thing I would recommend is that you try to reserve a table if going at lunch time as the place is popular and always busy. At the end of the meal I always love having a look around the gift shop.

Arrived there at 15:50pm, waited until 16:10 to order coffee before deciding to order myself at the counter... They were not busy at all. At 16:25 I eventually walked out. Total crap. The cafe wasn't busy and I counted 4 staff front of house. I let the waitress know we were leaving and she smiled and said "no problem" what... More

My husband and I were visiting the Hill of Tara a few days ago and we stopped here for coffee and cake! The place was so busy, we had to wait a short while for seats, and there are lots of them! This is only the beginning of the tourist season, so I can only imagine how busy they must... More

Lovely cafe with friendly staff. It's a busy place but the service was still good. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. We even had the added bonus of sitting outside on a warm spring day.
