Delicious food, lovely space to be, and excellent gift shop

I loved the food I had here - warm, tasty soup, served with their delicious Irish bread. Chicken risotto cooked especially for me without cream but so tasty and filling ......

Been here on many occasions and have never been disappointed. It's a tourist place with the Hill of Tara so if you go there in fine weather at lunch time your going to be lucky and get a table or prepare to wait. There is plenty in the shop to look around but a little to dear for my liking.... More

The service here is lovely. The food is of reasonable quality, we had baked goods, some good, some average. However the prices sting. At e4.95 for a slice of cake, and on particular e1.50 for a child's glass of milk. This was for us poor value for money.

We were a table of 4 who had lunch here yesterday and we arrived just in time before a large queue started to build. We didn't have long to wait and I particularly loved that our walk to our table meant we got to pass all the fab homemade cakes along the way! Yum, the smell was fab! The waitress... More

We stopped here, along with most of County Meath, for a bite to eat whilst visiting the hill. The places was heaving but after a short wait we got a table. The food was very nice and arrived quickly enough. Service was good, prices were decent and there was a good selection, from coffee and cake to full meal.

On a sunny day in mid October myself and a few family members attended the hill of Tara for a bite to eat and a coffee as we went in it was very busy and we noticed there were many young staff and not enough experienced staff. We ordered two coffees and a cappuccino,we waited 10 minutes and yet still... More

A lovely friendly relaxed restaurant , for lunch or just a coffee. They serve anything from soup, salads or a main course which are very tasty. It's has a very wide range menu suitable for vegaterians and coeliac. Good seating for all the family, high chairs available. This is a busy restaurant especially during the summer, as its beside the... More

Not a great deal. To start you need plenty of time if visiting this place for lunch. Wait time is too long. Scone and Tea is a good deal but not worth the wait. Walk around is good but wasnt happy with total wait time. Seemed a lot of tourist in place who had a lot of time...

I really take no pleasure in grumbling about a local café, but I've been to this place many times to meet family and I really feel they would prefer to stuff the place than give value for money. I ordered a Steak Sandwich, which was €12.95 and my partner ordered a Burger which was €11.95 and for that price in... More

Have had coffee here a number of times as its a nice spot, especially when the weather is good as its on a quiet road at the top of a hill so you can relax and soak in a little bit of nature. Its always fairly busy and especially so on a saturday morning with groups of cyclists dropping in... More
