IT was the first pub we saw. There was four of us for their FAB sea food chowder and lunch. We loved the open fire and the quaint little pub. Had lunch here today. Lovely quaint pub with very friendly staff and a roaring fire, We had a blend of lots of things on the menu, nothing was too much trouble. We had dishes to share and my friend, a bit of an oyster virgin, had a taster of the cooked oyster. She is now hooked. Can recommend the chowder,... More

I used to go to PJs fairly often but I got tired of the mediocre food and slow service when ordering pints. The bar manager is probably one of the rudest as well.

We ate here food ok a bit expensive for what it is.My partner had a burger and chips which was presented well , i had a salad which was ok but nothing special. The homemade brown bread nice but thought it was a little expensive at 4 euro. Atmosphere in pub good and staff nice

Visited Carlingford for a nice walk and popped into PJ's for a bite to eat that evening. Food was nice and service was fine. Prices reasonable too.

We've been visiting PJ's for years and love it. Staff, atmosphere, welcoming roaring fire - all hard to beat. We had lunch today and definitely noticed that prices have been creeping up quite a bit. Small glass (175ml) malbec red wine €6,90. Fish & Chips €17,90!? - really? Shame as most everything else about PJ's is great but please don't... More
