Visited again June 2016 - always excellent value and you can't beat the tasty home made food - stopped in for a cooked breakfast and returned next day for lunch - recommend the chicken & mushroom vol au vents with salad for a tasty lunch. A selection of owner Jackie's artwork (oil paintings) are on display - this time including... More

Small restaurant providing good quality home made food at good value. Visited on a Saturday lunchtime. Service was good, the food excellent, home made and freshly made. Would use again when visiting the area next time.

This restaurant is certainly worth visiting. Food is excellent, hot and freshly cooked. If you just looking for a cuppa and a nice piece of homemade cake or for a full meal this is the place, especially the homemade pizza. The owner is always on hand and is very knowledgeable of the area if advice is needed on where to... More

A lovely place to pop into and enjoy freshly made pizza (after 6 for pizzas) and I can honestly say I have never had pizza as good anywhere in this country or abroad. Jacki, the owner is a lovely person and always welcoming and by the looks of the walls in the Beehive, a really good artist too.

Pretty good food here. You can BYO. It's s decent option in a town where the eating out options are pretty few.

Basic food in a basic cafe. The atmosphere is non-descript and the food lacked any originality. Not much more to be said.

Called in for a light lunch after a local business call in Portumna. The restaurant is located just off the main street and parking is easy. The service is prompt and the food is fresh, using mainly locally sourced ingredients. Good value for money.
