The Roganstown Hotel & Country Club has always been sought after as one of the more secluded hotel experiences. Located 5 kilometres from Swords, Dublin, in what almost seems like the countryside, rests the historic land of The Roganstown Estate. This hotel certainly ticks the boxes when it comes to the facilities available as well as the food and a... More

We had an excellent Dinner last night Wed.17/02/16. Lovely dining room with large fireplace - very welcoming on a cold night. The waiter was very professional & very informative about the dishes on the menu. We had a Quail and a Fish starter which were very tasty then a little china cup arrived with a tomatoe & pepper soup topped... More

We were brought to this restaurant for a celebratory meal, and from the outset, our experience was very disappointing. Our table was not ready when we arrived and we were left waiting for almost a quarter of an hour, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. When we sat down, we were impressed by the menu at first glance; however,... More

Booked the restaurant for 8.30 on Saturday 6th Feb. There were only four of us. Order wasn't taken until 9.15 and starters didn't arrive at the table until 9.40! Three of us found the food good, Unfortunately, the tortellini starter was cold. The main courses arrived at 10.20 (almost two hours after we sat down). Two were stone cold and... More

The dinner menu in Mc Loughlins restaurant at Roganstown presents the best of Irish Food. There is a good choice of dishes for starters mains and desserts. The presentation of all courses was top class but the winner was the food, the combinations of flavours in all the dishes I ate were a rare treat. The price at present for... More

New chef in place and keen to try the new menu. Food was excellent and the extra touches with the amuse-bouche tomato soup and strawberry and ginger shot palette cleansers point to the chef's intentions and standards. Service was excellent, courteous, attentive but non-invasive and 3-course with wine offer was excellent for money. If they can maintain these high standards,... More
