Everything about this place was stinking cute! There's clumsy little bumblebees everywhere (very friendly, not to worry). Adorable Icelandic horses right outside and beautiful flowers everywhere. The food is good, I recommend the pasta. And for dessert please have the cheesecake, it's DELISH!!!More

A one-off. A classic warm Icelandic welcome, and a menu and ambience I’ve never experienced before. In a world of increasingly homogeneous food offerings this goes against the grain. Like all restaurants in Iceland, ignore the prices and enjoy the experience. Unless you hate tomatoes....More

I am uncertain when they're open but check website. You can also just stop in for a bowl of soup and bread....sit at the cafe/bar area....much less expensive and can tour through the tomato greenhouse afterwards.

Welcome to Friðheimar :) We recommend to plan the trip from Reykjavík to Friðheimar as a 1,5 hour trip if you drive road 1 to the south and then road 35 to the inland. We always recommend to book in advance :)
