Relaxed, cozy atmosphere, and our meals were perfect. I'm pescatarian so ordered the salmon and it was grilled perfectly. The other members of our party raved about the lamb cutlet, and the burgers.

We had a meal here while staying at the Hotel Selfoss which was across the parking lot. The food was outstanding, and service was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Best lamb ever! The restaurant is not fancy looking from the outsite, but the food is great. Best lamb I have ever eaten. Sides were also excellent. Can't believe a restaurant this good was found in Selfoss.
Located virtually across the way from the Selfoss Hotel, we elected to eat our second Selfoss dinner at Krisp. Great choice. The burgers were excellent, done to perfection, and served with deep fried potatoes, as seen in the photo. Service was friendly.
We ate here while in Selfoss. We had the steamed buns everyone talked about. It was one of the best dishes we tried in Iceland and enjoyed it very much.
We had a nice lunch at Krisp. I had the steak salad which was really good. Others had steak and vegetarian burger and enjoyed them. Service was friendly.
Stopped here after hiking. Two of us had burgers which were very tasty and came with potatoes. One of us had a steamed bun which she said was really good. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. Something to note when eating in...Iceland (which we didn't know) checks aren't brought to the table, you need to go up to the register. So we sat there for a while before we realized that, but when it came to splitting the check, they did it very fast.More
Our experience was disappointing. This was the second time we went to Krisp and the service was not good, the first time was ok but the second one was a huge disappointment. The waitress did not know what was on the menu and forgot to...bring some side dishes and the wine with the food. Also when we wanted to pay she had trouble taking the bill and splitting it into two parts, but we were 2 couples having dinner together. So compared to the price, the service was bad and we will not be going there again.More
We had such a lovely meal - we ended up going back twice! As a vegetarian with severe allergies it can be hard to eat while traveling but the vegan burger was so tasty and fresh and the staff did a wonderful job accommodating my...peanut allergy. My partner loved the burger he had as well. The staff was all incredibly friendly and we really enjoyed our meals!More
We stopped off at Selfoss for a late lunch before heading east on Route 1 and had already seen good reviews of Krisp Restaurant on Tripadvisor so we decided to visit whilst we were in town. The restaurant was quite stylish and we were soon...found a table when we arrived. The lunch menu wasn’t extensive but we were able to find suitable options. The meals arrived in good time and were presented nicely, the Krisp Burger that I ordered was delicious. We particularly liked the restaurant because there was a nice vibe to the place and the meals were reasonably priced, we would definitely return again.More
This restaurant is extremely cosy and we walked in after trying to find somewhere to eat in Selfoss and were met with warmth and a friendly smile. We got a table by the window and it was really comfortable. The menu has so many choices....So go hungry and decide when you get there! Lots for everybody’s different tastes. Burgers, salads, grill dishes etc. They also had a cocktail menu and plenty of beer and wine. I had the lamb and it was melt in the mouth! I had it cooked medium rare like chef recommends and it was simply amazing! Can I also say there was so much of it so I actually struggled to finish not due to taste but due to it being a good size portion. A side of a baked potato with cheese and broccoli (which by the way with Parmesan was the best I have ever tasted) made me super full. My partner had the chicken burger! Or should I say the monster burger! It was huge! He said all the ingredients like the salad and sauces in it were so fresh, it was like a dream burger. We could not resist the deep fried oreos! Never had these before and omg! They blew our minds! I would go back just for these! My waistline might not cope but I would be a happy woman! Cost wqs reasonable for Iceland as well! It can be very expensive for food but this was medium price and the food five star!More
Me and my boyfriend went there for our anniversary dinner and had a great time, the staff were all so lovely. I had the grilled salmon which was amazing, the skin was crispy and full of flavour and the fish meat was perfectly cooked, I...usually make my boyfriend taste food that I think is good but I told him he shouldn't even ask because he wasn't getting any, that's how good it was. He had a burger which was glorious, it was tall and the sauce was dripping off it, the burger came with small roasted potatoes which were great and I had fries with my Salmon, the fries were crispy and didn't get soggy by the time I finished them. We had chocolate cake for dessert which was great too and came with ice cream and strawberries. The decor was cozy and the low lighting was romantic. We loved it there.More
We needed a quite place for a special celebration at lunchtime in Selfoss. Someone mentioned Krisp as a good choice. We all agree that everything was to our fullest satisfaction, the food was excellent, the prices surprisingly low and the service was quick and friendly.
One of the best meals we have had in Iceland. We tried and shared all the appetizers - all delicious. Our group ordered the Steak Salad,, Krisp Burger and Salmon - all terrific. The carrot cake is yummy and the fried oreos and chocolate cake...to die for. The restaurant was packed, so make sure to call ahead for a reservation.More
Looking for a simple lunch, we stumbled upon this place. It was filled with locals, and they seemed to be enjoying themselves, so we stayed. We're glad we did. I had the burger, and it was a 5-inch high piece of artwork, featuring pickled onions,...an onion relish, and various other sauces. The meat was also very good. The only drawback was that once I started, I couldn't put it down as it started to fall apart. The fries were incredible as well. I believe they were small fingerling potatoes that were deep fried. They, too, were delicious. My wife had the chicken wrap, which included many of the same ingredients, although with a different sauce, which was garlic based. Overall, it was the best lunch of our trip.More
