We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and wanted a special dinner. We have been to Gaskin’s Cabin before and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our waiter this time was Ashton. He was so engaging and courteous. We both ordered the filet minion, and it was excellent!...We were also given a free dessert for our anniversary which we took back to our room! We were too full! It was key lime pie and was excellent as well! The dinner and the total experience was well worth it! We highly recommend this restaurant!!More

Lisa had prepared well for our special occasion of our sons and now daughter in law's pre wedding night dinner. We hosted 25 guests Burt and his staff served us all well. Most enjoyed the prime rib but several had salmon and chicken The brie...was excellent. The rustic environment was the perfect pre celebration of the wedding on the White River. A night to remember. Thank you all Gaskins CabinMore

Cute cabin. Ordered prime rib medium rare and it was good but over cooked. Mushroom soup was delicious. Service was good.

Good food, more upscale eatery, service was great and attentive. Wife had grilled chicken breast which she said was very good. I had the New Orlean Debris, which was rather salty. Overall was good, but the $40+ steaks and prime rib would have probably been...better.More

The steak was flavor-less and very expensive! Tried the prime rib and only able to eat limited amount! Chocolate bread pudding was disappointing as cool and under cooked. The service was slow and took 20 mins to get a martini as they were out of...glasses? The mushroom soup was was good. Was disappointed in our experience and maybe an off night?More

By far the best prime rib I've had. Start to finish, from the amazing service to the dessert, I don't remember a more pleasurable meal. The Burgundy Mushroom cream soup was to die for, and it just went to the stratosphere from there. You must,...must, must try this gem. You won't regret it!More

We really enjoyed our visit to Gaskin Cabin Steakhouse in Eureka Springs. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and welcomed at the bar while we waited for our table. Interesting conversation at the bar and a smooth extra dirty martini! We order the prime...rib and it was cooked to perfection. The service was attentive and we loved the small dining room. We were able to engage in conversation with other guests which always makes a trip more interesting when you can share experiences. My husband and I highly recommend a visit when you are in the area.More

For a person who likes to eat such as myself this restaurant is as close to heaven as you may get. On a chili Arkansas night, eating a 30 Oz perfectly cooked prime rib by the warm fire of a log cabin with family is...one of the best ways to spend a Christmas time night that I could ever think of. Don't let The rustic log cabin exterior fool you inside is a wonderful restaurant. Nicely decorated with warm friendly staff, eating a gaskins was one of the highlights of my trip to eureka Springs. If you find yourself staying at the Crescent Hotel like we did or any place else in town it is 100% worth the 10 to 15 minute drive to gaskins steakhouse. Like I previously mentioned I had a perfectly cooked prime rib baked potato vegetables and a creme brulee for dessert. The restaurant is not inexpensive but is by far worth every dollar that you'll spend eating here.More

Friends recommended this restaurant and they were correct. The mushroom soup was delicious and I highly recommend getting the prime rib, but have it seared, every bite was delicious.

We had a wonderful meal in the cozy cabin setting.. Love it! The parking is a little tight so leave the RV at home!

We have a handicap son in wheelchair. They have a handicap accessible sign on door. There was a 6 to 8 inch stepup to get inside. We ask the waitress was there something that they used as a temporary ramp and she said yes let...me get a piece of plyboard which would have been great. The head guy (I guess) came rushing out and said "No this is a historical site and we are not allowed to." My husband has a bad back but he finally picked up my 190 lb son and managed to get him in door .Of course,my son felt self conscious. The food was ok but very over priced. The plyboard could have been picked up. I don't call that altering anything.More

Great service, cozy atmosphere, great food! My husband got the KC Strip since they were out of Ribeyes. It was cooked perfectly & had great flavor. I got the prime rib & it was very tender. We had escargot for our starter & it was...delicious. All of their house made salad dressings are very tasty. I recommend the linguine for a steak side in place of a baked potato. Our server was VERY attentive! Reservations are highly recommended.More

We decided to try it out despite all the bad reviews and I’m so glad we did. We had the BEST server, Savannah. We each had a mixed drink, both very good. Shared Mac and cheese which was delicious. The mushroom soup is unbelievable. Husband...got prime rib and I got New Orleans debris. Idk how anyone could say they’ve left hungry. I barely was able to eat a third of my entree after the bread, soup, and Mac and cheese. We were given pumpkin cheesecake for our anniversary. Everything was delicious and everyone was friendly. Please don’t miss out on this place based on the negative reviews. I’m a harsh critic and have no complaints.More

Our group of four had dinner at Haskins Cabin on recommendation of a friend who lives in the area. We were all very pleased, with outstanding food, excellent service and a quaint, charming atmosphere. We were seated right at our reservation time. Escargot was exceptional,...as was the burgundy mushroom soup (waitress told us the soup recipe was 25 years old). My husband said the blue cheese dressing on his wedge salad was the best he had ever had! Each of us had a different entree, from steak to shrimp, and all were pleased. Portions were huge! I wish they had a smaller steak on the menu, actually. Choices for wine and mixed drinks were good. Altogether, it was a fine dinner and very pleasant evening!More

They do serve drinks....beer, wine and if I recall semi full bar. I wore a polo with jeans. We went during biker weekend, spring fling, so there were a lot of bikers wearing leather vest, jeans etc there.
