What a delicious meal we had and the service was great! Brittany our server was efficient, attentive, and very pleasant. My husband had the Bavarian plate and I had the Jagerschnitzel. Both were delicious and fresh. German chocolate cake was awesome! We highly recommend the...Bavarian Inn. A side note, we met a man from Germany who said the food was not only good but authentic!More

Just don’t. Awful. If there was a stronger word I would use it. Inedible. Not one offer to replace meal or other amends. $80 for nothing.

We were very excited to go to a German restaurant. We left extremely disappointed and unheard. We ordered two meals, duck and potato pancakes. The duck was so dry I could not eat it. The potato pancake which was stuffed with a spinach mixture. The...pancake was greasy, burnt and the spinach filling tasted off. Even the carrots and peas were flavorless. Our waitress asked if we would like more bread, we were never served bread to begin with. When we did receive bread, it was like grocery store stale bread. We told our waitress our disappointment, she said she had told her manager. We were given the bill, the FULL BILL. On our way out the manager stopped us and told us that she and her executive chef tasted OUR meal and it was not spoiled. What?!?! It was disgusting, but we should leave happy knowing we should not throw up when we get home because they tasted it and thought it was not spoiled! Tone deaf manager. Awful , overcooked, flavorless food that tasted spoiled. Do yourself a favor and find another place to eat.More

We had a wonderful experience here! We have been to Germany and the Czech Republic where we enjoyed their food, and the Bavarian Inn restaurant rivaled that. Excellent service, atmosphere, and food! We can recommend the Hungarian sampler appetizer, Hungarian goulash, and homemaker desserts. They...also have an extensive wine and beer list, extremely well priced.More

First of all, our waitress, Lisa, was phenomenal! She was personable and attentive. She made you feel like an old friend. And the food—-oh my—-so good!!! We started with the Bavarian cheese plate. You HAVE TO try their cream cheese. I wanted to take a...tub of it home with me! My husband had the Weinerschnitzel. He let me try it—Yum! I had the chicken royal, which was chicken stuffed with cheese and spinach. It was so good. This is a must try in Eureka Springs—-make sure and come hungry!More

We asked the lady at the tourist information center in Eureka Springs and were told that the owners sold the place. She didn't know whether it would open again soon. I obviously couldn't rate this place, but I had to give it a rating to...submit this information.More

Way ordinary food, overpriced. Small menu. My sweet & sour cabbage did not have any sweet or sour at all. Blah bland. We've eaten at many German restaurants and this one would never ever be on our radar again.

My husband and I have eaten at the Bavarian several times this season. The food, atmosphere, and service never disappoint. Excellent menu! Their house salad is super fresh and crave-worthy. Any of their Czech dishes are wonderful. Order the duck in advance if you can....It sells out quickly. Even their salmon is perfectly cooked. One of our very favorite restaurants in Eureka Springs.More

Hands down the best German/Bavarian restaurant I have been to in quite awhile. The service was attentive to our every need and the food was outstanding. Very ample portions and perfectly seasoned food made for a lovely dining experience. They even ask that you not...use cell phones at the table so as not to disrupt other diners.More

Made a trip from Springfield specifically to dine at the Bavarian restaurant next door. While dining we decided to stay the night, tried unsuccessfully online to book, so went next door and was told she had shut down reservations and was about to close, but...we got a room, a king with double jacuzzi and fireplace. She instructed me where to find the info card, next to the ice bucket, where the WiFi password was, instructions how to operate the jacuzzi and fireplace. We made it to our room, the air con was on but struggling to keep up with the size of the room, we closed the door in hallway so it only cooled the bedroom. Tv was small, but worked well. Bed was comfy and linen was good. Furniture and bedding was on the dated side. Struggled with fireplace for some time then gave up. It was hot outside but still wanted the ambience, but found out later it was turned off. It’s part of the ambiance sitting around the fireplace, honestly if I was told during check in I would have stayed elsewhere.More

Our first visit to the Bavarian Restaurant in Eureka Springs. We were there on a Thursday night, the staff and food were both excellent and it was a very pleasant experience. Authentic German recipes were prepared with love! Specialty restaurants like this one in a...tourist town can be all over the place. And with the staffing and supply chain issues affecting everyone, it was so nice to sit down to a good meal and and be waited on by smiling folks.More
