The staff was lovely and the food was great. Unfortunately the owner was really horrible to the staff… I heard her yell at them and I could see tears in one waiters eyes. I have eaten lunch here several times. The vegetarian food is inventive and taste is superb. The place has also a cozy interior.

Delicious coffee and even better tea. The staff was super friendly. A corner with toys let us have a nice break. If you like tea, this place is highly recommended: they have a variety to choose from, and of very unusual flavours. What is more,...you prepare the tea on your own, which means that you can choose its intensity and brew it more than once, as you would do at home. Honey and coconut sugar top the experience! Although quite expensive, it's definitely worth it!More
Spotless place for lunch which is served until 2.30. Cafe closes at 4.00. Outside seating. Pristine. Very Scandinavian with paintings on the walls. This visit the theme was horses.
I had a nice experience, eating cake in a small garden near the cafe house. Very good place if the weather is nice outside. Cake tasted good. Service was good as well.
Wanted to have a light lunch and vegetarian style. As a lunch there was salad (buffet-style) and moussaka (with lentil/bean). For a dessert was choco-pie or fruit ones! Great tastes and very friendly service! The place is worth of seeing - an old house with...genuine athmosphere!More

A perfect place for lunch or coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff. Although not a vegan myself, I’ve always enjoyed the food. The atmosphere is always pleasant with the option of sitting inside or out. I highly recommend Ani’s place.

In visiting Finland, especially places outside of Helsinki, I thought it would be mighty difficult to find vegan options but I was pleasantly surprised to find Ani's Cafe in Porvoo. It was easily accessible from the old wooden part of town and it offered beautiful...house dining setting. The food was all vegan, minus butter and yogurt laid out that was marked so, and was absolutely delicious! The service was efficient and helped get us situated outside to eat as well. The raw strawberry cake was amazing! Definitely grab some lunch here whilst visiting Porvoo!More
There's a hidden gem just a few minutes walking distance from the main square of Porvoo. The restaurant serves tasty vegetarian and vegan food. I usually take their lunch, which consists of a salad buffet and either a soup or a warm main dish plus...home made bread and good quality coffee/tea. I love their salad buffet, which has often delicious quinoa balls and some tasty sauces and of course fresh veggies. They also have desserts, raw cakes, juices and some books, mugs and superfoods for sale. The owner and workers are super nice and you can get service at least in Finnish, English and German. I always take my foreign friends there to eat because it's such a great restaurant and cafe. The interiors are super idyllic and the view from windows is beautiful. A little out of the town, but a great cafe for coffee, pastries or lunch. Cosy and cute inside but also a lovely garden. Extremely good food and very friendly.
Tasty, delicious lunch. Also vegan option on offer. Every day self-baked bread, cakes etc. And all this in a beautiful and cozy wooden house just a stone's throw away from Porvoo old town.

Delicious vegetarian and vegan food. This is the real deal. Also desserts available and freshly made wheatgrass shots! Beautiful building with calm atmosphere. Music is never too loud. Its a must!
My favourite vegetarian restaurant. I love the cosy atmosphere in an old house, as well as the allways friedly staff. Different diets ( vegan, gluten-free etc.) are well taken care of. Special mention goes to home made bread, I could live with the bread only...

This lovely cafe is actually called "Ani's cafe". The food was very fresh, starting with gazpacho and homemade bread. Then a tasty bean dish with green salad, zucchini "spaghetti" and slices of watermelon. The women working there were very friendly and spoke English. We enjoyed...our lunch in the garden, under the apple tree.More
