We visited first time Porvoo and this restaurant. I can highly recommend salmon pasta, very delicious. Could say never eaten so tasty pasta. Very friendly waitress allowed us to change from teracce to inside of restaurant to escape the bees!

I have been there several times and have mostly enjoyed the food. Today I went there to ask if I could book a table for another day, and specified that I was asking for one of the outside tables. They responded not only with a..."no", which would have been ok, but clearly stating that my whole question was stupid. "Nooooo", they said. I responded with a lingering... ah, ok. They continued. "NOWHERE can you do that". I tried to explain that I was receiving guests from out of town and they were worried about the situation with the pandemic, and therefore wanted to sit outside. "Noooooo", they continued, not even letting me finish the sentence. They were also clearly indicating that the conversation was over and that they were not interested in normal, respectful dialogue. This was in the middle of the day, and there were not even many other customers present, so they didn't seem to be in a hurry. They did not respond to my question even with a normal service oriented attitude. If this person had a bad day for other reason, she should not have been taking it out on the customer.More

Went here for Saturday lunch, pizzas were awesome, but not the traditional kind. My warm smoked salmon pizza was more like fusion between pizza and blinis. That said it tasted awesome and my wife’s portobello mozzarella pizza was according to her best she’s ever eaten.

This restaurant offers a great atmosphere with interesting pizza options. I definetely recommend trying their pizzas with a different kind of filling, because they taste amazing and unique! The location is right in the heart of the old town and easy to get to with...a small terrace area outside. The only minus was that my shrimp pizza only had 4 shrimps 😁 lolMore

As a group we ordered 4 pizzas. First two were good or OK but the second pair was either subpar and/or terrible. The main problem was that the bad pizzas were too greasy. The soggy center was dripping from fat. My own pizza had sweet...malt crumble, some of which was almost rock hard, and the whole pizza tasted like it had multiple spoons of sugar poured on it. Not to mention that the pizza had over dry minibars of salami thrown around it. Some of our group had eaten in Gabriel a few years earlier and clearly the quality had come down from that time. 3.5 stars. Salad was fine, pizza toppings were fresh and worked very well together, so did the cheese in the pizza. However I really disliked the frozen-pizza like crust that was greasy and thick. There was no taste in the tomato sauce (or almost any...sauce at all). The toppings would have worked better on thinner crust with sone solid tomato sauce. I guess it is matter of preferences but it saddened me too see such nice toppings go to waste on that poor base. So if you like pan-pizza style with gourmet toppings, this is your place!More

We ate lunch at this cozy restaurant, their pizza is really well made and the salad bar - although small and simple - is also very yummy. The lunch costs €10 (included the pizza and salad bar), which is really reasonable. I think instead of...the pizza you can get a salad with additional add-ons (e.g. Sea food). It’s worth the visit.More

Found this place on a rainy day while passing Porvoo. Heard this is a popular restaurant among locals but was really disappointed . The salad I had reminded me of a mid range pizzeria food from eighties. Boring and not tasty . The portion was...huge which made it even more not- so - appetizing . Don’t bother to dine / lunch here .More

All four of us went for pizza and they were delicious! We chose: Kirkko, Rautakauppa, Paraske and Magnus. We were very impressed when we tried reindeer meat -in the Rautakauppa pizza-. It tasted delicious! Staff is super nice! Happy to help and always with a...smile!More

Perfect location at the heart of beautiful Porvoo old town. The milieu is warm and welcoming. We ordered two pizzas that turned out to be quite nice and refreshing. Firm base, good toppings. Prices were OK too. Service was friendly but simple. No hassle.

Dropped in 2 pm for lunch. Helpful waiter. Delicious olive bread and salad for a starter. Quite long waiting for our order, 25-30 min. My spouse got a wrong dish but it was promptly fixed. Enjoyable warm salmon salad.

Beautiful presentation and delicious pesto chicken with polenta and perfect veg. Spouse was delighted with his salmon and accompaniments. House made bread and raspberry balsamic was terrific. Service was friendly and efficient. Very enjoyable evening.
