Still pretty much the same. If your in the area you must spend time eating or drinking here. Food is always pretty good but the people watching is the best and your always sure to meet and make new friends here. You Can't say that you have experienced San Isidro with out spending an afternoon here!

I was there for a lunch meeting with three others. In my opinion with the four different meals we were served nothing deserved a rating more than average. I've been to other lower rated reviewed restaurants in the area that I would say are much better.

Good prices, Wi-Fi connection and very comfortable chairs! I also appreciated that they are open late and right across from the park. Very convenient for travelers.

I met a friend for a light dinner there recently. It is well run and very pleasant. I had a chifrijo, a layered Costa Rican dish of rice, beans, meat, and pico de gallo. It was fine. I especially like being on the main square and watching people walk by. I would go there again.

Even though the restaurant looks very nice and expensive. The menu caters to all kinds of budgets. (Such as a backpacker who got stuck in the city cause he missed the last bus) the staf was very friendlymost speaking spanish and english (at lsast the ones I talked to) would de finitly go again should I ever travel to san... Now La Terazza Restaurant. Under new ownership. The food is the same. Drink prices are double most other local places. No longer the hang out for expats and most folks go next door. I miss the place as do most ex pats, but we have moved on.

We ended up on the terrace of this restaurant with hungry children and even if the service was painfully long (you're in Costa Rica after all) and the terrace full of smoking expats (we are not used to cigarette smoke smell while eating any more in Canada...), the food was incredibly cheap and delicious. Try the Taco doble with French... More

We are a Canadian couple who have visited this restaurant over a dozen times in the past two months while wintering in Costa Rica. We have not visited the ajoining hotel yet. The setting is ideal for a downtown restaurant. You look across the street to a beautiful huge church and the beautiful almost city block size vibrant park. The... More

Service was acceptableand tended to be the best part. Food was tasteless but moderately priced...Corvina filete with veggies $6.50. Loud and obnoxious expats hanging out drinking and professional ladies in and out.
