The oldest restaurant in Arkansas not only has a great history but also has great home cooked meals for lunch and a great dinner menu as well! Can never go wrong with the extra cut ribeye steak!!!

Well I'm going to start this review off by saying I strongly dislike the town of Camden AR. However there is one thing in this town that makes it worth while. The White House cafe is by far the best place here they have good food, great people & cold beer! Who doesn't love all that? To make it better... More

My husband took me here for our anniversary. I ordered the smaller steak and he got the larger one. While his was delicious mine was a huge disappointment. It didn't even taste like a real steak. When we asked the waitress she informed us that the large steak was fresh cut but the smaller ones came already cut and frozen.... More

I really like older eating spots with character. This was a place would never have found or trusted with a Camden native to encourage the lunch time treat. The serve was laid back but good. The taco salad was tasty. The peach fried pie was OK, it needed sugar. The crust was flaky and it was fresh just not sweet... More

They aren't much to look at but that is just part of the atmosphere, the food is really good. It can be a little loud at times especially on weekends.

The food was good. There was nothing particularly striking in this restaurant. It seems to be a local favorite. We enjoyed watching the parade of prom kids come in all dressed up to eat upstairs.

It is located in Camden on the main street and it does not look like much. When you step inside it is somewhat cut up and rambling. Has an old look but welcoming. We had ridden down to Camden from Hot Springs to have lunch do to a recommendation we had gotten a few days earlier regarding the White House... More

Tripadvisor needs to change their posting policy. Not allowing postings to be made with less than 100 words is too time consuming and I won't be spending my time. 10 words would be plenty to say what needs to be said. I hope they shorten this requirement or I won't be back.
