We were seated right under a giant tv. The open kitchen design does nothing to add to the diner’s experience and is only a convenience for the staff that takes away from the ambiance and adds horrible noise. Lovely restaurant with good food, solicitous service, and fair pricing considering the high quality of the ingredients. We were pleasantly surprised by Bentonville with its town square and upscale stores.
Updated Italian restaurant with seating inside and out. Courteous staff, interesting craft cocktails. We each had one and they were delicious. Expansive menu with traditional Italian offerings but paired with the unexpected. Lovely rocket (argula) salad with oranges, lightly dressed and topped with croutons. I...had spiral cut zucchini and squash, with spinach, peas,red peppers, onions, lightly topped with pomadoro. Choice of accompanying meats if desired. It was an outstanding dish. I liked very much the roasted oysters. The grapes in vinaigrette were special and are highly recommended. A good Tavola salad that was not too fatty. A good wine selection. Very friendly service. So in summary, an excellent restaurant in Bentonville.
Perfect place for outdoor dining. Our waiter was engaging and knowledgeable. Really enjoyed our experience. My husband had fettuccine alfredo and I had the Daughter's Salad w/grilled chicken. Visiting from the DFW area. We came a few months back and had some great food. This time we ordered the Pizza Giavanni. Absolutely the best crust we’ve ever had. We found out from the waitress that they make the dough every morning. They add...a little Parmesan cheese (and maybe some garlic). Again, just amazing.More

The lovely Houlihan and I figured we would try this place out. Not bad fellas… Not bad… This place loves its customers, and they demonstrate this by the amount of love they put into the food. There is no corporate blah here, these guys are...full flavor. I can’t possibly pronounce the name of my dish, nor can I pronounce what the lovely Holihan had. I just know both of us thought our dishes were delightful. I had a dish with chicken, with mushroom ravioli, and wild mushrooms that had been sauteed scattered throughout the top. It had a blend of marsala wine and cream as the sauce. As I said earlier, it was good, maybe not go to the back of house and kiss the chef good, but it was good. Holihan said she loved her dish as well, as she mentioned how delightful it was. Both of us were happy that our meals were lighter in nature. A lot of times, pasta dishes can lay heavy; however, ours did not. In the beginning, they bring out a little bit of bread with a side of very garlicy marina sauce. Now, I am accustomed to oi with spices with my bread. While this was nice, I prefer the dipping oil. Now this isn’t really a complaint as it was flavorful, but more of stating my preference. Houlihan and I finished the night off with Tiramisu for dessert. I enjoyed it, it was a decent little dessert; although, I have had better, it wasn’t of the same quality as the rest of the meal. Honestly, I have had better Tiramisu at Olive Garden. I don’t mean to insult your Tiramisu, as it was good, but I think I was expecting a little more from you guys, based on the quality of the food I previously had. Stuck in a banquet/party room-area used for overflow. ZERO atmosphere. When we go out we like to not only have good food but enjoy dining in a pleasant space. The atmosphere overshadowed the tasty meal. If we hadn’t been with others, we would’ve left. If...you go, ask for the main dining room or skip the experience.More
The fettuccine Alfredo and lasagna had great flavor, but needed more sauce. So ask for extra!! The hungry man would have left hungry cause portions are small. But great food and service!
We lucked into this place after a bicycle ride in Bentonville area. Been wanting to try something in dowtown Bentonville and tried this Italian as opposed to Mexican places that seemed to be abundant. Ambience, service, wine, hell even the water was perfect. This was our first time eating at Tavola. What we noticed from the start is how especially nice the front desk, bartender, and wait staff were. I ate the Lasagna - which was fantastic. I know my wife and friends all enjoyed their meals also....One of the starter dishes my wife had was the Roasted Cauliflower soup - she said it was light and delicious. Nice Italian restaurant. Food portions were sizable. Neither my wife or I could finish our entrees. My wife really enjoyed the red sauce for the bread. Food came so quickly, I was shocked. Our waiter was also very nice!
We had excellent service for our party of six. Bread is sweet with red sauce instead of dipping oil. Lasagne is a large serving. Gnocchi Classic red sauce was excellent. The white sauce gnocchi with hot sausage was something unique.Excellent kale salad. Good variety for...a group. Wish I had a pizza sample!More
