Superb Latin Cuisine Restaurant!

This is a Latin Cuisine Restaurant! Our first visit and it was Delicious 😋 we will most definitely return. Prompt attention was given to us the moment we were seated by our waiter, Kyle. The service was very prompt and rapid delivery of our food. Homemade guacamole that didn’t disappoint served with plantain chips. They also offer a few fish/seafood dishes. My Ahi Tuna was cooked to perfection!

Great experience, lived up to its billing

We are visiting from a different area of the state. We went there on an extremely busy Friday night. The wait was about 30 to 45 minutes, which actually didn’t seem that bad because of the incredible number of people that were around the square. Once we were seated, we were immediately greeted by our server, who quickly brought our drinks and then took our order. I swear it was no more than five minutes before our food was there. The food was excellent, the service was top notch, and I’m not sure how our overall experience could’ve been any better. Highly recommend, we will certainly eat there again.

Good food, great service

My husband and I pulled in to town hungry. We headed for the town square and spied the bright umbrellas of Table Mesa. Our timing was right and we got a table outside. Service was very friendly and fast. I had the BBQ chicken salad ($13), mixed green salad and other veggies topped with plentiful tender chicken. Delicious. My husband had the chorizo burger. It was generous, he said the flavor was great.

Food good service horrible

Went to dinner for our anniversary. Once seated we waited 10 mins before anyone brought water or even acknowledged we were there. Ordered chips/salsa for an appetizer and our food came out before we got the chips/salsa - asked for more salsa halfway through our meal and it wasn’t brought out till we were done and paying the bill. Food was good but service was beyond awful. Huge disappointment for our anniversary dinner. Probably won’t go back.

Slow service, cold food

We were told it would be 20 minutes for a table and we were seated 40 minutes later. We had asked for to-go beverages to sip while we stood outside and waited, and they forgot them until we reminded the waiter after 20 minutes. We were given menus and where 1/2 of the items on the menu weren't available for us to order, which we were only told about after we had decided to order something from that section of the menu. Their wait staff was not trained on what gluten-free means, saying they could serve something without cheese, and when we finally did get our food it was cold. Have to say this was a disappointment all around. The reason they are getting 3 stars and not 2 is because the manager did modify our bill without being asked, which we appreciated.

We have visited family in Bentonville quite frequently over the last 5 years and initially Table Mesa was top of the list to visit again. Unfortunately this last experience probably means we are unlikely to go again. The food was ok but we have never experienced being rushed as much as we were this time even though the restaurant was wonky half full at best. The server asked if we wanted a take home box for our food while we were still only half wet through our mains. She also asked if we wanted desserts while we were still eating our mains and brought the bill before we had finished our mains. Very rude and we did say at the time and the person we think was in charge then took over. We told him we had been very rushed but he was just giving lip service to us and no real effort to try to make any goodwill gesture so we assume if must be their policy now to rush everyone. I was tempted to leave no service charge but there are a lot of support staff who rely on this so I did but they have lost some clientele and family who live there will also not be revisiting. We did have poor service on the previous visit which I put down to a one off and insisted we give them another try. My mistake.

“Special “ a big rip-off

Food was tasty but overpriced for Mexican food. Visiting friends and they insisted on paying. I ordered the “special” that wasn’t priced-but most meals were around $12-$15, kind of pricy anyway, but the “special” was $25! Sneaky way to rip you off-disgusted & embarrassing to have ordered such an expensive meal.

Great brunch spot

My family and I came here for Sunday brunch and loved it! Five adults, three kids, and one baby - they seated us about 30 minutes later. Didn’t mind at all because I enjoy walking around the beautiful square. It’s about $22 per person and you can order as many dishes on the menu for breakfast. There’s a great variety of delicious choices however my favorite was the sweet potato enchiladas.

Good food/Bad service

Family of seven. Seated next to loud party of eight as far away from kitchen as possible. Only one server. Service is slow. Everyone gets drinks but one. After we ask for drink they say they’re out of that beer. A different one ordered. Food comes out. We need salsa. Second attempt at beer never comes. We finish meal. Salsa comes at end with no chips or food left. CHARGED FOR SALSA! We can’t blame the one server but we can blame poor management. Too bad because food was good.

Friday night

7pm Friday night ordered a chicken salad the meat was covered so thick in cheese sauce couldn’t taste it the salad came with no dressing had to ask for it the rest was just lettuce The brisket was just stewing steak in a brown gravy tasteless. If you want a quiet dinner for two forget this place the noise levels are through the roof don’t know if it’s the acoustics of the building but you can’t hear yourself speak . The only lager on the beer tap menu was Stellar but they don’t don that any more . Then to finish the night of the check was incorrect. We try this place about once a year hopping it improves but always disappointed with the food

Totally Forgot Us

We showed up on a Saturday, Just a little too late for lunch service, although it was 25 minutes until they closed until dinner. Ok…should have taken that as “we don’t need to eat here.” Unfortunately, we did not. We came back for dinner at the time we requested, waited for 20 minutes past the reservation time, and got sat behind the front door. And that is all. No wait staff, no drink order…nothing. We left, and as we headed down the sidewalk, the hostess came out and said, “We’ll have to give your table away if you continue walking!” I said, “That seems to be the point, doesn’t it!?” I have no idea of the food is good, and I suppose I never will.

Flavorful Meal and Delicious Sangria

Patio dining was perfect for people watching. Order dessert first!! The key lime tres leches was absolutely perfect - great balance of sweet and tart. The butternut squash enchiladas had tons of flavor and just enough heat in the verse sauce to balance the sweet of the squash. Salsa had just a punch of heat, guacamole was creamy, and the queso is melty cheesy goodness with pepper jelly thrown in...all scooped up on housemade chips.

Best Brunch Ever!

We had just come back from a bike ride and were looking for something different in Downtown Bentonville. We had come through Table Mesa in the past and liked their lunch/evening. We hadn't tried brunch until today! The brunch concept they offer and the level of quality ingredients is worth surpassed by none. Worth coming back for brunch!!

Nice lunch place

I went with a friend for lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. She is gluten free and was able to find things that she could enjoy. We shared the stuffed dates which were amazing. They also infused the water they served at the table and it was tasty.

So good we came back a second time

This is not your standard Mexican fare. It's more upscale, but not really expensive. The chicken fajitas are amazing. The guacamole salad as well as the pork tamales. The chips and salsa were very good too. The chips had a lime seasoning and they were thick strips you can dip without breaking your chip.
