A friend of my husband's suggested we eat at the Bulldog Restaurant since we were passing close by on our trip to Texas. We were glad we took his advice. Everyone was friendly and the place was very clean. We got our food quickly. The hamburgers were great, but the strawberry shortcake was even better!

We love stopping here in our way through, but it had been awhile. We had a chocolate sundae, a cone, a slice of coconut pit and a turtellette (concrete?) dessert. Everyone was happy with their dessert, and the service was quick and friendly. Such a cute, small town cafe.

We found the Bulldog Restaurant to be clean and friendly. Seating was easy and our food came quickly. We had the salisbury steak special which was inexpensive. The steak smothered in onions and mushroom gravy was tender and delicious. We, therefore, are looking forward to our next trip to Bald Knob, AR to again eat at the Bulldog Restaurant.

Small town Americana at its finest. The Bulldog is THE place to go get a quick bite in Bald Knob and the STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE. It’s the bomb! I took my wife, daughter and her family for an early evening dinner and had a great time. Food was good and service was fast. Dessert was the best! Recommend this to everyone!

This place is a great old fashioned burger joint. My wife and I were craving a good hamburger and this place does not disappoint. Great burgers, great onion rings and fries and great soft serve for desert.

Amazing pulled pork plate with excellent
cole slaw and baked beans!! Presentation was lovely.
Portions are very generous and we ended up with a to go box for the road
We shared a delicious freshly picked Arkansas strawberry shortcake (seasonal) Fresh sweet strawberries on top of ice cream,cream, with sweet pastry short bread.. cookies
There are no words to tell you how good it was!!
We also got a freshly prepared lemon icebox pie to go.They had already sold out of their coconut meringue pie when I went to order.They sold the last piece to the man in front of me
!! It looked awesome too!
We will definitely stop in on our next trip through the area.!!

The peanut butter cake was served warm, and it was amazing! The proprietors were on site and very friendly. The stew was good and the chicken dumplings were good, but the desserts were by far the highlight.

Strawberry shortcake. More like a Strawberry sundae with a few cookies. Cook better burgers at home. Every thing else is frozen. Can do that at home

We stopped here on a whim passing through this small town. You could tell from the packed parking lot it was going to be good. It’s a counter service menu with a large variety of traditional items like hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches and even taco salads. They also offer plates with 2 sides and the catfish seemed to be super popular.
Homemade desserts looked amazing. Fried pies were almost irresistible but we had a long drive.
So glad we stopped at this diner.
Friendly, clean and amazing food.

Wow! Driving the back way home across the state and saw the crowd . Had to try and it was so worth it . Be ready for a line and waiting for a seat but the food is great. The fish , fries and onion rings are fantastic. The hush puppies are out of this world and the homemade shortcake desserts are off the charts ! Worth the drive and bring the family !

Inexpensive food that is very quick. The main reason to stop here are the milkshakes and other desserts. The food itself is obviously frozen but for the price it’s hard to beat.

Stopped here two weeks in a row while passing through the area. Food was good. Strawberry shortcake was delicious! Can’t wait to stop in again in the future.
