I love to sit down and eat here and I also enjoy their platters for events. The albondigas soup that comes with certain entrees is delicious.

Ordered Enchiladas which were very good. The restaurant is off 4th Avenue on 3rd at 11th street. You will need to look for it as you can drive right past and not see it. If you use Google probably a good idea to check maps. The one thing I had here and have never had anywhere else is their LEMON... More

While working in Yuma this week, I asked for Mexican restaurant suggestions and La Fonda was highly recommended to me. After working all day I went to the restaurant around 7:10 PM. I was looking forward to a big margarita and when I requested one, I was told they are made with wine. Yuk... not for me. So I then... More

Excellent, reasonably priced. I try to eat there whenever I'm in Yuma. Food is well presented and the atmosphere is cozy and Mexican. Staff dresses in Mexican clothes

This is a very old establishment. Just like you would expect of an old Mexican restaurant. The food is good the portions are adequate.

Let me caveat this with I am not the world authority on Mexican food but have probably been spoilt in ABQ. A nice family run restaurant off the beaten path but a group of us went as it had been receiving good reviews. The service was excellent but would have to say the food was average; I would say it... This was the Worst Mexican Food I ever ate, the beans were thick and crusty, the rice was blah and taco meat was stringy, we'll never go back!

Not sure if La Fonda is family run or owned but it should be. We missed the lunch rush so it was nice to take our time in relative quiet. Tried some new dishes this time...yummy. Our waitperson, Alexia, was very efficient and sweet. She even offered us to go cups for our very good ice tea.
