Brownies is one of at least three restaurants with same owner -- there is another is Brawley and a Steakhouse in Westmorland. The food is basic - nothing fancy. good value for breakfast and basic lunch or dinner. Floor is linoleum, tables and chairs from last century and proud of it ! Be sure that if you order the cinnamon... More

Love this place which seems to be a favourite of locals. Only had breakfasts here but always busy. Feels and tastes like home cooking. Affordable. Friendly staff

made in house chicken friend steak!!!!! YES! this place has been here since 1946 and everything on the menu looked yummy and the prices were even better. Get there early as it was super busy but I did notice even busy people didn't wait long to be seated. Great staff too.

Great specials everyday. The pinto bean soup & Tuna sandwich & onion rings was good. The beef tips and noodles was tender, came with vegetables, the side salad had tomatoes, cheese, onion, mixed lettuce. All in all a great place for breakfast or lunch. Good staff. A real gem in Yuma. Open year round what a gift.

I love salsa! We stopped here for breakfast because the food is always good, the servings good size, and the staff friendly. I had the corned beef hash with hash browns augmented with such tasty salsa; I ate mine, that of my children, and bought more to take home. Mmmm. Brownie's is always a good choice for a meal, and... Not open, deserted and no lights on! We will not come here ever. Neighborhood questionable but you can't always judge a book by its cover.

Most towns have a place like Brownies - a place where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came (OK, I'll stop with the "Cheers" theme song now. Without eavesdropping on anyone's conversations, it was apparent to me that most of the clientele were regulars and the place generally had a good vibe to it. So I was... More

We have been coming to Yuma for a couple of months each winter for 8 years now and this is still our favorite breakfast restaurant in Yuma. The ham is very fresh and good so try the “Ham and Eggs O’Brian” for a great breakfast. The coffee is always fresh and hot as is the food when you get it.... More
