There were nine adults and two kids in our group so we had a chance to sample many things on the menu. Everything was delicious. I loved the elk and my husband loved the carnitas. For breakfast I had yummy crepes with orange sauce. Service was excellent and our waitress was very cheerful and pleasant.

The Turquoise Room is a fine dining establishment located in La Posada Hotel in Winslow. The restaurant "serves regional contemporary Southwestern cuisine — with an occasional tribute to the great days of the Fred Harvey Company." There are Native American and Spanish influences, and there are suggested wine pairings for each dish. Presentation is exquisite without being cutesy. We had... More

We were 2 couples traveling together in August, 2016. After a relaxing stay in the hotel, we had breakfast in the Turquoise Room. I had the Corn Maiden, my friend had the Harvey Girls Orange Pancakes/Crepes, and our husbands had the Silver Dollar Pancakes with eggs, bacon and green chile potatoes. All declared their breakfasts delicious. Service was very efficient.

The Turquoise Room and the attached hotel were part of the Harvey House chain of first class restaurants built alongside railroads. This building and several others in the area were designed by a female architect, a rarity a century ago. The food is Mexican with a Native American flair, and was excellent.

Stopped for the night in Winslow, AZ and while hunting for a place to eat, we found this place inside the La Posada Hotel. Decor was amazing and the food was excellent. The hotel is in an old railroad station/ hotel which has been restored. Lots of history about the "Harvey Girls" and the early railroad years.

When the evening train arrives watch the passengers descend and imagine you see Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Lana Turner coming down the walk. They will be here for dinner and the night and will catch the morning train out. The dining car menu is outstanding but the "on-line" Harvey Houses were always a special treat because they offered the opportunity... More

The chef uses locally grown food, and everything is always fresh and of the highest quality. My friend and I had the churry lamb posole, Caesar salad, hamburger, creme brûlée, and peach pie. Everything was wonderful, and the service provided by Dennis was professional, friendly, and efficient. This is one of many visits, and we will definitely be back. The... More

In the LA Posada Hotel (hope I spelled that right). I had their lamb shank dish and it was delicious!!! The corn bread is to die for! The prices are a bit upscale for a luch, but it was worth it. The hotel is cool. A display about the Harvey Girls is very educational. Check it out!!!

Very pricey, and tables are to crowded. Food is ok but prices are too inflated. Wait time was a little long and had to call for a server anytime we needed anything.

I was reluctant to dine here while staying at La Posada - because of the menu prices I had noted online. But, we only go around once, so I gave in and my husband and I had dinner on our first night. Reservations are needed, and now I know why. Superb service - surely as good as the Harvey Girls... More
