This place is a landmark in Winslow. My parents first met here for a cuppa Joe way back in the 50s. They still have reliable refills and reasonably-priced coffee w/ the usual cafe fare and a good breakfast, always hot and prompt.

I was nervous because of the exterior of this cafe but we followed an older couple in so I got courage from them! ;) The wait staff was VERY professional, quick, courteous, and knowledgable. One gentleman waited on all the tables and was quicker and better than most wait staff in a big city! Some of the best service I... More

Really great food in an unassuming small cafe. Great Mexican cuisine and added bonus of Navajo fried bread included.

Had lunch here today and it was pretty bad. I've never had bland Mexican food until today. Cant remember The name of DW dish but no amount of salt, salsa, or sour cream made it better. I had the Navajo Taco with red chili, and again it was very bland. Added salt, and salsa trying to get some taste but... More

Finally another Mexican restaurant that has really good enchilada sauce. Food was delicious and our waiter was on point with his service. Will visit many more times I'm sure!

Went in for lunch. Thought it was a tad high priced then they brought out chips and salsa. Both good but typical. Then they brought out the sopapillas and I was surprised by a 2nd free appetizer. I got green chili chicken enchiladas and my buddy got chicken fajitas. Both of us liked everything and we will return again.

We came here on the recommendation of our hotel from desk after notifying them of our late arrival via phone and requesting where to eat before getting there. Kind of sketchy neighborhood and whatever you do: don't judge what's on the inside by the outside. GO IN! Greeted warmly by staff. Outstanding service. Other patrons are equally as friendly like... As almost always, we sought after the local flavor - and it is definitely here. A mostly locals crowd in what looks like - and is - an old school small town diner. Food was good and plentiful - and the place was crowded with locals at 3:00 in the afternoon A nice stop!

Had lunch at this cafe. Very local and very good food. Tasty chips with spicy salsa. Crispy tacos on seemingly homemade grilled tortillas. Pepper lights strung around dining room. Very glad we didn't go to Church's fried chicken next door
