Went with a group, the waiter was great and got everything right. If you are looking for steak, this is your place. Not much else on the menu. Few appetizers... But $9 for onion rings? I had the petite sirloin with green beans.. Steak was cooked fine and was okay, the green beans were from a can, yuk. Overall, we... More

Super downstairs bar that seems never crowded. A few bar stools and some tables. Nice and cozy atmosphere and Carmella was a great and patient bartender with even the younger one of us. Try the Barrio Rosa Beer made by Yukon brewing, We ordered appetizers and for two of them we could have had one nice steak dinner upstairs. The... More

Fresh from a day at the Grand Canyon, we were hungry and needed a place to eat. The conductor on the train mentioned a different place, but we were a little skeptical when we noticed it was pretty deserted whereas we noticed Rod's was packed with a line up of people waiting to get in. You can't miss Rod's --... More

After having a fantastic day in the Grand Canyon, we stopped by Rod's before going back to our hotel. We had to wait a bit to be seated, not because it was full, just seemed to be attitude! However once seated the waiter was very attentive. We opted for their rib steak, more expensive but wow it was worth every... More

My wife, daughter, boyfriend and I were on a fantastic trip and had just marvelled at the Grand Canyon that day! We were very much looking forward to some prime steaks for which the US is famed! The restaurant was busy on arrival and we were shown into the bar, while we waited for a table - this was absolutely... More

My wife and I stopped here about 6:00 PM on a Tuesday evening. We were immediately seated. The restaurant is located on the main drag (Old Route 66) in Williams. It has been there for many years and started in the heyday of Route 66. Both my wife and I got the Lady's Cut of Prime Rib. The 9 oz.... More

Quaint steakhouse with a decor of western theme, but not overdone. A lot of history for this place. Staff was very pleasant and professional. Filets cooked to perfection sides as well. A separate bar to the back of the building.

This place has a good reputation, so we decided to try it. The food was decent. I can't say great. But, I would expect better quality for the price. Appetizers were deep fried, but I'm guessing came frozen. Dinner salad are iceberg salad bag mixes. Did not eat the roll, as I try to eat gluten free. Steak was ok,... More

This place got real busy after 6 pm. We ordered the Rod's Special Charred Steak which was pricey but real good. The service was somewhat slow but worth the wait.

Traditional western steak house. Medium sized dining room for good service, a bar in the back room. Seems to have a lot of history going back before the Route 66 days. Definitely a family operation, which I prefer. Cute little die-cut menu in the shape of a cow, small but very well-appointed food selection. I had the big old-fashioned T-bone,... More
