Remember, this café serves everyone staying at the hotel and riding the train so it gets VERY busy and noisy. Be prepared to wait for everything - to get in the door - to be seated - for the one chef to make your pasta, you get the point. The food was a step above cafeteria, breakfast was a good... More

As the title says, it's a buffet. Not too much can be said about a buffet unless it stands out, and this one does not. Potatos, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes or French toast in the morning. Potatos, salads, fish and roast beef in the evenings. sound familiar. They do have a side hot buffet that serves omelette or eggs... More

This is the second time we ate at the GC RR Cafe. Good breakfast buffet, great omelets. Great service. We love Vina out waitstaff, she is always helpful and efficient! She makes us feel at home! Good food, great prices, fast service, you'll be glad you ate here! Try to visit cafe before or after train leaves (9:30am), we were... More

Located directly across from the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel next to the train depot. Service is all buffet, probably because of the numbers of people coming through to catch the train. Dinner buffet was Ok. Breakfast buffet was quite good.

We paid nearly 40.00 (for three people) to have an "all you can eat" breakfast buffet on Saturday morning, which I was fine with, but once we stepped up to the buffet, I found we had been overcharged. The pancakes and french toast were fresh. Fresh from the refrigerator! They were not at room temperature, they were not warm, they... More

So, there's nothing wrong with this place , but it could do better. Eat dinner buffet and a breakfast here. Both were fine, but a bit more choice would have been nice

We ate 2 nights here and 2 breakfasts which is part of the package deal. The food was adequate at best. Some dishes were either absent or short supply. The brisket was past well done. Did not see the special pasta station until last with a full plate. The second time, I only went there and was better. The interdepartmental... More

We had the breakfast buffet, and was amazed at all the choices! A couple days later, we had the dinner buffet, and again was amazed at how much food was offered! Everything was very good, and the service was excellent! There was a singer that night, and at first, we were a little leary about it because they sat us... More
