We went for lunch with another couple. Servers were busy but doing a good job. Unfortunately, the food was BORING from the taco, to the enchilada to the Chile Relleno. Bland. There must be better choices for Mexican food in Wickenburg.

I ordered a take-out meal and when I got back to my hotel room, had no eating utensils. The green chile sauce on the rellenos was so salty I couldn't eat it and the flavor was just awful. The menu said that chips and salsa...were complimentary but they weren't-they charged a lot for them. And you have to ignore all the anti-mask, pro-trump signs. If I hadn't placed my order by phone, I never would have gone in. And they had been recommended as really good. NOT!More
I am a fan of sweet corn tamales and these were the best I have ever had! The con queso dip was great, my GF loved the Margaritas. The service was incredible I believe the servers name was Diane. I can't say enough good things...about the food and the service.More
I really like this restaurant but the experiences we’ve had has been very disappointing. The lunch- time staff are disorganized and haphazard: I’ve asked for beef and get chicken; I waited nearly 20 minutes and when someone passed by and saw that I didn’t have...my order, my server came over and asked what I’d ordered, then went into the kitchen and returned with cold, unappetizing food. My girlfriend has been given the wrong order although the restaurant was literally empty. The service is better when Tom is there in the evenings, but the food has been cold when it arrived after a long wait.I ordered a margarita that was served without the tequila: it’s not that we were rude, pushy, or unpleasant in any way… but the drinks were served with ice, warm mixer, no tequila, and a salt-rimmed glass (I asked for “rocks, no salt.”). Pass. This used to be a very good restaurant but no one is running the show. I don’t know if anyone is managing the restaurant when Tom’s not there: not sure if it’s the serving staff or the kitchen, but something’s wrong and they need to get it fixed, and quickly.More
Needed our Mexican food fix while in Wickenburg, and there are several restuarants on the menu. Picked Anita's and we were very happy. Service was great and food was super. Tried a combo platter with a taco and relleno and wife had a "half tostada"...which was way bigger than half. Chips and salsa were excellent. Even the aromas of the food passing by were tempting.More
Friendly staff, excellent service,, ans a great location in the historical district. The shredded beef in the taco combo plate and their chimmi was tender and tasty. Unfortunately the combo plate did not include beans.
Stopped in here for lunch during my recent road trip to Arizona. It’s a little place located near the movie theatre on the main road through town. The restaurant is nice. Typical Mexican food selections you would expect to find and a bar to order...your favorite cocktail. I had the Chicken Tacos which were pretty good. Margaritas weren’t too bad either. They are old school in that you have to pay at the front counter, not at the table. This led to a bottle neck of people at the front door when the staff couldn’t tell who was leaving and who was entering. Still, it was a nice meal, staff was friendly and worth a visit if you’re in Wickenburg.More
I loved Anita's Cocina. Delicious New Mexican food made fresh daily in a friendly atmosphere. This is the real deal.
I usually visit Phoenix (Surprise) to visit relatives on a yearly basis. We usually make Anita's a stop while I am out visiting. Had dinner last eve, and as always the food and services are always great. I just really enjoy everything I have ever...had to eat at Anita's, they again did not disappoint last nite. Just consistantly very good food.More
Not only was the food outstanding but also the service and atmosphere. Would recommend this to anyone passing thru. An experience worthwhile
Drove 90 miles to get there on the Harley, which was fantastic this Sunday morning, but the restaurant was CLOSED on SUNDAY AND MONDAY during the summer months, I guess they consider May a summer month.
Enjoyed a great lunch and cocktails. Food was good quality, well prepared, and good portions. Service was great and prompt.
Great food, fantastic service, excellent margaritas. Make this a priority on your next trip to Wickenberg
In the past this was a place to take visiting guest to get a sampling of the old west. Only a 30 minute drive from the greater Phoenix area. Now I guess Covid has taken it toll. limited indoor seating at small tables meant for...two, but extremely crowded for four. Menu prices have gone up substantially. The food was good but nothing special. A sign at the front dest said management was not requiring employees to wear masks, that it was their option. None of the young employees wore masks. This was the 4th of March which was totally irresponsible.More
Very crowded, but got in quickly. ok food. Cute atmosphere. Servers busy, waited a long time for food and silverware.
