We arrived in town around 7:30 pm, saw this place and pulled in. We were quickly seated as it wasn't very busy in a covered patio type area facing the street. Food is quite pricey, not surprising considering it's located in what has to be a tourist town close to the Grand Canyon. My wife wasn't too hungry and had a "soup of the day", baked potato and a side of seasoned vegetables: all crap. Soup was like dishwater, baked potato cooked to a hard, shriveled lump and vegetables cooked to nearly mush. I had a burger which was meh: Ok at best but the bottom bun was completely soaked and soggy when it was delivered to the table. That and a wait staff spending more time watching soccer on TV instead of waiting on customers left us feeling very disappointed. To top things off, as we left we saw the main, half empty dining room, which looked like a much nicer place to have a meal than the covered porch we were seated in. There aren't a great number of choices in Tusayan, but I would give this place a miss. Many cheers ............

There not many restaurants to chose from in Tusayan, AZ so we decided to go here over pizza. Should have chosen pizza. The wait staff were very nice. I had the sirloin steak ordered medium rare with the mashed potatoes and gravy and onion rings. The potatoes were fantastic! The sirloin arrived in a seared state (not cooked at all) and the o-rings were cold. I informed the waiter and he took the plate back. He returned with the meat which was cooked to medium rare and the exact same onion rings which were dumped in the fryer again which rendered them a chewy, greasy, disgusting mess. I asked for more potatoes! My sister ordered the burger which literally crumbled when she cut it in half and did not taste very good. It looks like an old western town inside the large dining room with an extremely large screen showing video of the Grand Canyon and surrounding area.

Quite a good location. It's not like you have a lot of options if you're staying at Tusayan! So maybe that's why you'll either pay that or that, right! We loved that all waiters are mexicans, so they're super friendly, we loooove meat, so we had meat. Surprisingly, the meat was good but it could be better. Pasta was good. We went twice in a week, but then again, its not like you have a lot of options. Youll have a great time and pictures :) though not for foodies.....

We took the T Bone which on the menu weighed around 450 grams and a small steak arrived which apparently weighed half as much with at least 1/3 fat. The flavor wasn't bad but we expected something completely different especially since it's on the menu for 50 dollars... We kindly expressed our opinions to the manager by showing all the fat left on the plate and he replied that the T Bone is like this everywhere, as if we didn't know how to distinguish the various cuts of meat or we had never been to a steak house. He didn't even apologize, he wasn't the least bit interested in the disgruntled customer and we were more annoyed by his attitude than the mediocre steak. We will definitely never return but if I were in the owners' shoes I would have the manager do some customer caring lessons and I would go to dinner with some competitor to see how a $50 T Bone is made, just to have a slight idea...

given that it is one of the few choices available in Tusayan, this restaurant had all the makings of being a good experience. From the outside the western effect was very captivating while once we waited our turn to enter we found ourselves inside a hall decorated with deer antlers but absolutely touristy. The menu had no particular ideas and the ribeye we ate was not well cooked. The bill was absolutely not adequate, too expensive for the quality/price ratio, and the service was also very cold.

We ordered 8oz burgers but received 4oz burgers. It took the manager 20 minutes to come to our table after complaining to the first the server and then the 'head server' both of whom rebuffed my complaint. The manager was even more rude and did not apologise for what we were served and simply said we were wrong. I have never, never received such offhand service in my life. I was not looking for a discount and paid the bill in full but refused to add a gratuity. Had this occurred in the UK I would have involved Trading Standards and have them charged under misrepresentation on their menu. If we return to the town we would never return to this restaurant.

Disclaimer, we were with a large group that knew we were coming. The service was so bad it was almost comical. An older man took our order and wrote it down, but almost everything came out wrong. Our drinks order took forever and 3 out of 6 were incorrect. I had the ribeye steak which was very thin, but it was actually pretty good! The potato was good as was the salad. My friend had salmon that was so overcooked it was hard! She had to send it back as it was not edible. Her husband got his salmon at least 15 min after we got our meal and he had a monster pile of French fries instead of a baked potato as ordered. No apologies. The coffee never arrived at all with the dessert.

I visited here with my wife and family after visiting the grand canyon West side,it looks welcoming and promising from the outside however that's about it. We visited the restaurant at about 1900hrs we were served quickly despite it being busy, the food was an absolute let down,my steak was grey in colour despite it being a prime rib which I ordered medium and half of the steak was fat, the Mac and cheese was very poor the sauce was literally just poured on the pasta wasn't great, the chips were very hard, a burger wasn't great. They automatically tried to charge us 18% for service despite it not being stated on the menu for our group of 4 and they took offence when I didn't leave a tip. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to friends and family, despite its promising location near the main approach road to the grand canyon

Waited 35 mins for a table, then 25 minutes after being seated to ask for drinks and food, had to ask for drinks twice, starters came then main course 1 min after!! So had to send them back, poor service, food mediocre. Don’t usually write many reviews but this one deserves a heads up for people. Save your money and go macdonalds 😂

If you can avoid this place then do it! We had to eat here as a "farewell dinner" for our tour group. They must cater to tours because there was another group here. We had "pre-ordered" our meals, so they knew what everyone was having and what time we would arrive. Our table's service was terrible. We had to ask for water, and our salads arrived with no dressing on the table. After we finally found a waitress, we were given one type of dressing. I had ordered steak (ribeye was our only choice) and it was cooked medium like I had requested. It was one of the toughest steaks I have ever had! My husband had salmon and it was undercooked and had no sear on it. Our potatoes were big and the side veggies (zucchini/squash) were okay but a little on the mushy side. The wine we were served was poor quality but the dessert was okay. Maybe a different cut of steak would have been better but that wasn't a choice for our group. I would probably not return here by choice due to poor food and service.

I went here for dinner with my husband. Very quaint place, very friendly service. We both took the Jalapenos as an appetizer (be careful, they are super spicy), let's say good but too spicy for my tastes. For my second course I had a common hamburger (good, nothing special) and my husband took some meat medallions with fried potatoes and vegetables as a side dish. Everything cooked very well but the meat didn't taste like much unfortunately... overall we had a good time, I would recommend it. We also took a good bottle of red wine (Merlot)

I was looking for a place to take my granddaughter after the Grand Canyon for dinner. This restaurant advertises a magician and music while you eat. Sounded like fun. We go there and order our meals. Ask the wait staff when the magician comes out on the stage and several employees did not know what I was talking about. Finally found one that said there use to be a show but that was years ago. Great. Lazy management that doesn't bother updating their website. We ordered the petite Sirloin steak which was overcooked and rubbery around the edges. The baked potato comes with a side of butter and sour cream but no chives. The cheesy pasta which is actually Mac n cheese tastes like it comes from a box, the French Onion soup tasted okay but the cheese had already cooled into rubbery chunks on top. Would of liked some good rolls or Texas toast served with the dinners. All in all it was overpriced and mediocre. I would not recommend.

There are limited restaraunts in Tusayan to choose from, so despite the reviews, we thought we would give them a try. I would say the reviews are fair. We ordered the filet medallions and the sirloin. When the waiter delivered the food, he asked us to cut into them to make sure they were cooked properly. I couldn't even cut through my sirloin (medium) it had so much gristle. I thought I had a dull knife. Unfortunately, it was the steak. I only ate a few bites of my steak. My husbands filet "medallions" were actually strips of 1/2 inch thick. I would give them a lower rating except the sides were all good and the dessert tray look good. We didn't order desert, so I can't comment on the taste. The baked potato and mushrooms were good. And the staff was attentive and pleasant.

Half of our shrimp appetizer was rubbery, the other half partially raw. I ordered my steak medium well and it was cooked medium rare. My friend asked what kind of soup they had and they brought him a small $8 cup of soup that he didn’t order. They charged $3 for baked potato toppings and $2 for 3 pieces of bread for our party of 4.

Was looking for a steak house just outside the Grand Canyon and this looked pretty good on line, however it was very disappointing. I ordered a full rack of ribs, with corn and fries. The food came out in around 5 minutes of me placing my order, which to me was an alarm bell. What I got was frozen oven chips, tinned sweetcorn and 2 x half rack of ribs that were not even from the same rack, that were just smothered in a BBQ sauce - very disappointing. The staff however were very friendly and polite and I cannot fault them, it was just the food that lets this place down.
